44 The other turn gone wrong (2/2)

”Let's get moving”, Seb suggested again.

Only Seb is their last hope now.

If she stands up for them, they were sure that Iven won't say them anything at all. And Seb is kind enough to do that, it's sure different to have a women around.

They exchanged looks, Seb will bail them out. She is reliable and the boys can breath of relief with her around Iven.

But somebody has to trigger the flame, so that Seb stays on her toes.

They pushed Noah in front of them and walked behind.

A really lame trick to use their youngest brother. He's sure to manipulate Seb. Even Yuka shoved his hand at him to move forward and nudge Seb.

Noah gave them an angry look and prepared to say it,”Iven,...he's gonna eat us alive”.

”Not if I'm there”, came he immediate reply.

And that pretty much took care of the problem.

The boys sneaked smiles at each other and already knew that Seb was on their court.

She can control his temper, and Iven seems to give in to her.

A while later

Within few minutes, they have reached up to Josephine street.

It would take another 15 minutes walk from there to the dockyard and another 10 minutes to Seb's home.

Seb suddenly paused on her footsteps.

The relaxing walk had been interrupted!!!

Everyone imitated her move, unknown to the reason. Her reflexes are never wrong.

”Seb!”, Yuka's eyes were in continuous motion as he wanted to know her reason.

Seb's eyes were sharp, she could catch motion in the darkness. There were shadows around them for a while now. She didn't pay attention when it was one or two of them, but she realized they were more in number and they were tailing them for a while now. Her eyes turned towards the lanes around. There were people hiding, with no polite intention...

”Yuka!”, she murmured, keeping her guard up for any sudden attack. She had him alerted, he knew by the time what she wanted to show.

”Be on guard”, Yuka said to them and then shouted,”Come out!!!”.

There was a sudden chaos among the lanes, clearly shunned to have been discovered and blown cover.

But they didn't pretend, and started exposing one by one themselves.

From each lane around, huge looking men were merging with grungy expressions. They were sure to have ulterior motive. Also, there were many of them. They all stood surrounding and totally cornering Seb and the others. They were outnumbered, being only 7 of them including Noah. Yuka and the others stood protectively around Seb and Noah.

”Stand back Seb”, he hissed.

Seb ignored and stood covering Noah. Yuka didn't argue, she's is indeed more skillful and vicious then they were.

Mak murmured to Noah,”Stay behind me”.

”I'm with you in this”, Noah said protesting.

But Seb declined it,”No!!! Noah, promise me you'll get away at the first chance offered. Do not think twice, got me???”.

Noah couldn't defy the worry and roughness in Seb's voice. He nodded.

Seb was aware of what Noah meant to his brothers and Iven. They were sensitive in his case. After losing one brother. they won't be able to take it if anything happens to him. His protection meant everything to her.

”Yuka...”, Hamish whispered,”It's him”,

Seb turned at the person Hamish was referring.

A tall huge figured person, appeared very similar to Seb.

”Long time...Yuka!”, he spoke with a rough gruff voice.

”What are you doing here?”, Yuka shot un-amused.

He smirked mysteriously at him. That's when Seb recognized him at once.

He's the one who beat up Noah with his gang.....Heeld!!!

Heeld changed his dominant expression to surprise as his eyes fell on Seb. He had recognized her.

”You!!!”, he said pointing at her.

All of the boys stood closer to Seb in a moment.

”I've got some issues to settle with you”, Heeld's eyes were burning.

”Oh no you don't!”, Mak roared at him.

Heeld was breathing with anger,”We were sent to get her, but I didn't know it was you. I've hunting you since that night. Some scores are to be balanced”, he looked at Yuka,”Don't you guys interfere, we want only her!!!”.

”She belongs with us”, Yuka said,”Guess you have to return empty handed”.

”I won't repeat Yuka”, Heeld was losing it already,”Outta my way!!!”.

Yuka didn't say anything and kept his position intact. So did all the others. No way they are going to hand over Seb to them, not on their lives. She's one of them!

Heeld gritted his teeth with rage and nodded once stiffly.

All of his men broke out at once and pounced on the 7 people mercilessly...
