”...and hungry”, Iven completed his sentence from before.

Seb looked at him for a while and only laughed. That cured Iven in no time. They were able to take all the rounds at last.

After they got down fro the ride, Seb brought them corn-dogs. She brought enough for two, but Iven found this new item so delicious that he finished all of them. Seb didn't mind and just smiled at him. She could see a completely different side of him that day, and it was worth it. Iven wanted to have more, but Seb prohibited him because there were more rides left to try. She promised him more later.

Seb had been to Amusement Park before with Erica and with her brother when she was younger, but with Iven, it was totally a new experience. His company was different than all others. He changed the usual things on his own.

He was also gaining a lot of attention to himself due to his facial beauty.

He got into the quarrel with the man who was putting on 3D glasses because he created some mess but he totally seemed kiddish during the aquarium show. The blue water seemed to acquire his attention completely.

It was only during the Ferris wheel time when he was calm enough, probably tired out from the whole day. He didn't complain and looked out from the window at the top with eager eyes. Whole day he acted unlike himself, he never talked this much before. Seb knew that today was a experience too new for him. But she enjoyed herself with him no matter how he acted.

6:00 pm

Seb and Iven were returning for the day.

”You didn't let me have any more Corn-dogs!”, was the first complain of Iven at the end of the day.

”I let you have nuggets too, it was good too!”, Seb said.

”I could have brought more”, Iven said.

”There's a next time”, Seb assured him.

They reached halfway to Seb's hoe chatting already when she paused and panted a little.

”Tired?”, Iven asked.

”Thirsty”, said Seb.

”We just left the exact shop behind”, Iven let her know.

”Will you wait? I'll get something fast”, Seb said.

Iven touched her shoulders and motioned at himself, that meant he pointed that he would go instead.

Seb nodded and Iven ran off. The shop was around the corner and wouldn't take him much time. He vanished in the dark within a second.

After 10 seconds, Seb's phone pinged with a message, from Erica. She turned around at the street light to see and reply to her.

Suddenly, a chilly wind touched her nape. It ran down her spine as she felt someone's presence. Seb shivered and turned around immediately.

There was no one there.

A shadow crossed behind her and it caught her sharp eye.

She turned again but again there was no one.

She was firm that some one was around her, her eye balls rotated continuously...

”Hey!”, called a voice from behind which Seb was familiar with well. She sighed and turned around at him. But the relief from her face faded in no time.

”You took long enough.....”, Seb spoke slowly,”....and....your clothes....?”.

”Yeah...I felt uncomfortable so I changed them at a nearby shop”, Iven said.

Seb looked down at his hands, they were empty...

”You didn't buy any drink?”, she asked looking at him.

”No...I...”,Iven stammered,”...they didn't have what you wanted. I'll get it for you from another shop ahead, let's go”.

Seb didn't say anything for the moment, but something was definitely off. Seb was struck with the sense of lightning. Iven isn't himself. Seb never said what she wanted, then how come he said that it wasn't available? Also, if he changed his clothes that too in such a short time, where are the clothes that he wore before? Iven would never throw them away because they were a gift from Seb herself!!!

They walked for a while without a word. Iven was oddly quiet than before. He stole glances from Seb often too.

”Um...is your eye doing fine?”, he asked suddenly.

Seb was totally bewildered. Why was he asking that out of nowhere? They already had the conversation.

Seb narrowed her eyes. She tried to lure him in a trap, something triggered her saying that he has to be an imposter.

”After all you did, why are you still asking if I'm okay?”, she sounded a bit stern.

”Didn't I apologize already for it?”, he revolted.

Seb was successful in her first attempt. He lied, he didn't do it, Mak did! But instead of denying it, he show signs of admitting it. Why???

”No you didn't!!!”, Seb beamed.

”Well then, I apologize!”, Iven calmed his voice and said.

There goes another hint! Iven was deeply sorry for his acts and had apologized thrice. But now, he didn't sound at all sorry. But Seb still wanted to believe that he was indeed Iven. It was all the same, his face, his eyes, his voice.....it was only his behavior.....which showed a bit of change...

She cut to the chase finally,”Iven...are you alright?”, she asked slowly and concerned.

”What's the matter? Why do you ask that?”, Iven turned and asked.

”You are not yourself....Is something wrong?”, Seb stopped on her tracks and said.

Iven too paused on his steps and turned completely. He kept looking at Seb without blinking. Seb was looking directly into his eyes as she waited for him to reply. He had no expression on his face and had a blank stare. He looked down.

All of a sudden, a creepy smirk stretched beside his lips as he looked up and his eyes changed form,”Actually.....it is...” , saying he stomped towards Seb and pushed her hard in the dark lane making her crash against the wall as he stood cornering her, without a way left for escape.

”Iven!”, Seb raised her voice shocked as she held her arm which hit the wall painfully,”What on earth....”

Iven raised his finger and put his across Seb's lips, his eyes gesturing her to be quiet. Seb was stunned at this unknown conduct. She held in.

”Surely you aren't so naive that you have left yourself completely defenseless against me”, Iven said. His tone had changed. It sounded rather deeper and threatening. Seb couldn't say another word,”Did you really think all this time that you could control me? Just with a few sweetness??? You are just a weak one-eyed lass!!!”

Seb had a lump struck in her throat. She couldn't swallow it. Her heart-beat was twice the pace. What was Iven saying??? Who was this person? The Iven half an hour ago was lost! These weren't his words at all, not the Iven she knew. What was going on?

Seb was too stunned to say anything. She stood paralyzed and had lost her voice. it was indeed a real lightning for her. She gasped once. She knew if things went wrong now, she won't be able to resist. She would eventually have to give in, because it was him. After all this time together, Seb was well aware that she can't rebel Iven anymore. She'll just break if things go further than this!

”You fell right for my trap”, he whispered eerily,”It was so easy to turn you into my prey this way. I'm amazed you couldn't figure out my intention all this time. Did you really think I would change this easily?”, he let out a laugh in a awkward voice and smirked.

These were not Iven's words. This person was not him. Seb had her eyes fixed in his eyes all this time. she could tell clearly, it was not him. She could see no light reflection in his eyes. Those eyes!!! So lifeless and dark! Darker than they were ever before, more when she first met him. They had no remorse nor a bit of kindness in them.

It was not Iven at any cost!!!!!

She swallowed once,”Who...who are you?”.

He again smiled,”Oh? I see you're too smart for your looks.....But that eye of yours is bothering me, lemme see that disgusting thing...”, saying he raised his hand and approached for the eye-patch.

Seb was sweating cold and immensely. Her hands had turned cold too. She knew that if she didn't do something soon, the consequences won't be good. But she had no might to resist him. She couldn't take any step at all.

He's not doing it again, he's not doing it again,no!!! He promised!!! He can't!!! Seb screamed in her head and closed her eyes tightly.

Suddenly, a blow of wind sped past her. A gasp was heard followed by a crashing noise in the lane. Before Seb could open her eyes and study the situation, a strong hand looped across her waist and pulled her roughly.

Seb found herself clinging onto something strong which had a familiar scent.

She knew well this figure form, this feeling of protection and safeness could emerge from only one person she knew.

She looked up. She knew those eyes.

It was him, finally. Iven!!!

He pulled her more closer to himself as he roared like a wild wolf, unwilling to share it's belonging. Seb never felt so protected.

She shivered, Iven open his fist and patted her softly to comfort her fear,”Hush! I'm here”, he whispered.

”But then....who was the other person who was a perfect duplicate of him???

Seb looked down at the one who just fell down. They are too identical, not a trace of difference. This can't be....they are actually.....
