23 Chapter 23 Where Is Peter? (1/2)

Varen was woken up by the light coming in through his window. He grudgingly looked up at his alarm and saw that it was 9:00 A.M already. Well, it looks like I'm late yet again. Varen looked towards Peter's bed and saw that he was not there. He must have gone to school already. Varen got up and started to get ready for school all while cursing Peter.

Varen: ”That asshole, he couldn't at least wake me up? He just left me here to be late for school.”

30 minutes later Varen made it to school and walked into his classroom.

Ms. Choya: ”That's two days in a row Mr. Parker. I really hope you do not make this a habit.”

Varen: ”Haha, sorry Ms. Choya. I slept a little late yesterday so I overslept. I'll try not to let it happen again.”

Ms. Choya: ”Yes Mr. Parker, you make sure of that.”

Just as Varen was about to walk to his seat, the door suddenly opened as Felicia walked through.

Felicia: ”Sorry I'm late.”

Ms. Choya: ”You to Ms. Hardy? What is with this week?”

Felicia: ”Sorry sorry, I overslept. Late night.”

Ms. Choya: ”Yes, it seems that late nights is the latest trend with you kids.”

I chuckled as I started to walk to my seat with Felicia joining me.

Varen: ”You were really tired too huh?”

Felicia: ”Exhausted.”
