7 Explaining Super Saiyan 4 (1/2)
The Saiyan Transformations up to what has been seen have three evolutionary routes:
1. The Great Ape: a transformation that depends on the tail.
2. The Super Saiyan: a transformation that depends on the S-Cells.
3. The Saiyan God: a transformation created by using divine energy.
The transformation of the Super Saiyan, or at least the ordinary Super Saiyan, has two perfect transformations and five imperfect transformations.
The Super Saiyan perfect transformations:
1: Super Saiyan (Grade 4): The Mastered Version of Super Saiyan, it uses less stamina and Ki and can be used in a calm state, indefinitely.
2: Super Saiyan 2 (Or Super Saiyan Grade 5): One a Saiyan in Super Saiyan form is able to maintain a calm state during transformation and they feel a wave of extreme anger they can transform into a Super Saiyan 2, multiplying his power by twice the level of a normal Super Saiyan, using all the S-Cells in the body.

Super Saiyan imperfect transformations:
1.Psuedo Super Saiyan: This is the form when a Saiyan stronger than the norm, that has doesn't have enough S-Cells, has a wave of extreme anger.
2.Super Saiyan (Grade 1): This is the form of when a Saiyan stronger than the norm, that has enough S-Cells, has a wave of extreme anger. This is the version that a Saiyan first transforms into and is not mastered.
These techniques are imperfect limit breaks; Two for Super Saiyan and the other for Super Saiyan 2:
1: Super Saiyan (Grade 2): It is a forced increase in the power output of the initial Super Saiyan transformation. By overloading the body with the energy produced by the S-Cells, a Super Saiyan is capable of acquiring more power than it is capable of controlling, as a side effect, the muscles increase, limit movement a bit but not by a lot, and uses energy very quickly.
2: Super Saiyan (Grade 3): It is a forced increase in the power output of the initial Super Saiyan transformation, even higher than Grade 2. Overloading the body with the energy produced by the S-Cells, a Super Saiyan is capable of acquiring more power than it is capable of controlling, but as a side effect, the muscles increase to an extent that the Saiyan loses a lot of speed, being slower than in the form of Super Saiyan and it spends energy even quicker than Grade 2.
3: Super Saiyan 3: A transformation that breaks the limit of Super Saiyan 2. Once a Super Saiyan 2 has control of the transformation similar to a Grade 4 Super Saiyan, in exchange for an extreme amount of energy, is able to transform in this way. Multiplying they're power (power contains the attack, defence and speed) by 400. It is imperfect due to the excessive use of energy, this means that this transformation can only be used for a few minutes and also loses power progressively during its duration.

Now we must ask, how do we explain the appearance and transformations of Super Saiyan?
In the transformation of Super Saiyan, the hair becomes a golden blonde in colour and seems to stand on end, giving it a rising flame-like appearance. The eye colour changes to a greenish-blue, muscle tone becomes more defined, and the skin tone (and clothing) becomes lighter, mainly due to the energy and light output of the golden aura. As the natural floodgates of the body are opened with the transformation, excess energy is radiated from the body in the form of a pulsing, flame-like aura.
My theory, which explains this physical and power change, is that when the S-Cells of the Saiyans are released, they release too much energy and this overloads the body with that energy, then that excess and uncontrolled energy begins to be released through the hair so it doesn't harm the body.
It is as if the Saiyan's hair were a safety valve that prevents the body from exploding due to an overload of energy, surely the hair of the pure Saiyan never changes after being born for a reason similar to this.
Because the energy of the S-Cells is yellow in colour, the hair is turned yellow and the aura that gets expelled from the body as well. The body acquires more muscle mass because it adapts naturally to the energy that it is capable of possessing, as one of the qualities of a Saiyan is that they are able to adapt their body to power.
However, what would happen if more energy were to be released than what can be controlled by the body?
An imperfect transformation would take place, like the Super Saiyan Grade 2 and 3, in which the body has been overloaded with more energy than it is able to control, increasing the power by overloading the musculature.
The Saiyan is able to adapt their body to this power, which allows it to be transformed into Grade 2 or 3. If another race tried it surely they would be incapable or their bodies would explode.
However, a Saiyan is able to do this, but his body doesn't adapt perfectly to power and so he loses speed due to the excess muscle and maintaining that forced musculature costs too much energy.
So what is the Super Saiyan 3? How can we explain its appearance?
The transformation of Super Saiyan 3 is similar to Super Saiyan Grade 2 and 3, as it releases energy in the body to increase its power in a way greater to what the body would normally be able to control.
However, why not increase the musculature in a brutal way like in Grades 2 and 3?
That's because it doesn't concentrate the energy on the musculature and instead, is concentrated in the hair. When the Saiyan becomes Super Saiyan his hair changes colour and rises, when it becomes Super Saiyan 2 his colour is more pronounced and it rises even more and it gets a little longer, surely this is because there is more energy coming out of the natural safety valve that is the hair of the Saiyans.
Following this theory, the Saiyan has to concentrate a huge amount of energy from his S-Cells into his hair, practically all the energy of the S-Cells that his body possesses and at the same time to be used in this transformation for a short period.
The Saiyan will be able to access all that concentrated energy, concentrated energy that causes all that hair growth, it's as if the safety valve was full and was about to explode. Therefore, he will not have much time in it and since the hair is a safety valve, and if all that energy is concentrated at that point, it will end very quickly.
That is the strength and weakness of Super Saiyan 3.
It manages to increase its power drastically without affecting its speed, concentrating that energy in the hair and not in the body, but it loses a great amount of energy precisely by concentrating it in the hair.
That is why although it is a great transformation if you want to fight for a short time, it is still an imperfect way to break through Super Saiyan 2.
The eyes don't release energy, they are a manifestation of the inner Ki, in this case, they are green, very possibly because they represent the unlimited power of the Saiyan, which is the characteristic colour of the S-Cells of the Legendary Super Saiyan.
With this, I finish my theory the of Super Saiyan transformations.
...
Now, the most powerful transformation route of all, Super Saiyan God.
This form is achieved through a ritual. The ritual that is needed in order to achieve the Super Saiyan God transformation is that it requires five righteous Saiyans to channel their Ki into a sixth Saiyan.
In this way, new energy is created, or better said, the quality of that energy is improved and converts it into divine energy.
Every time we see someone with divine energy, we can see as if it were energy in a liquid state unlike the normal energy or aura, which seems to be in a gaseous state, it is higher quality energy, more tangible.
By acquiring this energy and making it yours, simply in your base form, you will already be a lot more powerful.
That's what happened with Goku, he lost the transformation, but he still had divine energy because he made it his own, making it possible to continue fighting against Beerus, despite not even being transformed into a Super Saiyan.
So it is partly a transformation and an ascension.
The ascension is to get the divine energy, increasing your power even in your base form.
