My next target, a Sky Panther, I wanted to kill it before advancing any further. But the reality was that a Master at hunting was nowhere to be found. You either have to be a master tracker or extremely lucky to find it.

And I was neither. After looking for three days, I found nothing. The feeling of stagnation only made the situation worse, not wanting to advance until I killed it was the problem that made me into a ticking bomb. Anger and frustration piling up inside me were now slowly sipping out.

In the end, I had to force my self to calm down. I made a choice, I will continue increasing my strength while looking for a sky panther! And when I finally do… it won't end well for it.

Using the same strategy, I continued to increase my strength while looking around. When I reached 21'st cycle, I already spent quite a while in the hunting grounds. I kept killing and devouring souls, from time to time fight a Leshy. I kept challenging the same Leshy without killing him for a few days now, always shaving off a bit of his bark.

Whenever he sees me now, he doesn't even think about fighting, he turns around and attempts to run, but with such an excellent opponent I couldn't let him go like that.

Today was no different, I was looking for that one specific Leshy. But before I realized… I got lost.

I panicked and jumped to the side while looking at the ground I was just standing on. But there was nothing there.

”CAW!”

I turned to where the sound came from. There a golden raven with three legs I was already familiar with was standing on a branch, it looked at me then looked at my feet. I looked down and saw the cover I made from sticks and leaves. With the sound of cracking, I started falling.

Immediately I manifested my image and used claws to slow down my descent. The earth breaking down and falling on me, with rocks smashing into my soul image, the tunnel was collapsing!

Half buried under the dirt I struggled my way up, around me a familiar cave came into my view, with the same dark surroundings and damp air.

How did this happen? Now I know for sure it had to be the doing of that stupid bird! This was the second time I got lost and ended in this place. If I wanted to come here, I knew the way, but to suddenly show up here was definitely not normal.

But now I was stuck. The exit was blocked, and no matter how I wanted to unblock it I won't be able to.

'Rumble!'

The ground shook, ceiling split and cracked as pieces of rock started falling! I run as fast as I could, evading the falling rubble!
