16 Commotion in the kitchen (2/2)

”Hahaha … I think master Ikki that bring luck to me. If I'm not following you here, I won't find it”

”Lukas, do you think we can open an ore mine here?” Chief Harvard asks him the possibilities.

”I think that possible if we have enough manpower chief”

”Alright, we discuss that further in the village”

We continue our walks around the hill. Although we double check the hill and look on every big boulder there, we still can't find the cave that I looking for.

”Gentlemen, I think it's time to return before the day turns into dark” chief Harvard conclude our search today. Although I a bit disappointed with this failure I can't force them to search days and night for me. They willing to help me, a stranger in their village, is already fortunate for me. So we leave the forest and heading back to the village.

After arrived at village gates we separated to our own house. Matius handed some of his hunting prey for chief Harvard and Lukas before they leave.

Three of us return to Chief Harvard house. Since we arrive when day almost dark I don't have a chance to take a bath and only wash my face with water from the well.

”Master Ikki, you must be tired after a long walk in the forest. Why don't you take a rest first and we will wake you up when dinner ready” Chief Harvard give me a suggestion.

”Okay chief, I'll take rest first” I go to the room that they prepared before.

After laid my body to the bed, I try to close my eyes and sleep. But my mind was too busy thinking about today event which makes me unable to sleep. I still a bit dejected knowing that cave where I come from was nowhere to be found. Am I destined to be stranded in this world? Can I return to my homeland? What should I do if I can't return to my own world? Can I survive in this world? Where should I live if I can't return?

Those kinds of thinking keep appearing in my mind and make me must consider what should do if those really happen. I'm still in the middle of the thought when I heard a commotion from the kitchen. Lazily, I wake up to see what happened there.
