16 Commotion in the kitchen (1/2)

We discuss our plan after having lunch also while taking a break.

”Master Ikki, what do you want to do next?” chief Harvard asking me

”Let's take around this hill once again together, after that we return to the village. Actually, I want to see another place of this forest but we don't have time for that. It's already past noon and if we keep looking, I'm afraid we will back to the village after dark”

”Master Ikki, you can come again tomorrow with us” Matius offer his idea

”Yeah, we're hunting every day in this forest. We don't mind to take you with us” Marius supports his brother idea.

”I still return here tomorrow to check this ore vines again. I can accompany you” Lukas seems to have his own plan for tomorrow.

”Sorry master Ikki, I don't know if I can accompany you or not tomorrow. If there's nothing need my attention in the village maybe I can come along with you” Chief Harvard said with an apologetic tone

”It's alright chief, you must have many things to care since you're the chief village”

After we agree upon tomorrow schedule we start to circle the hill once again together. When we're across the place where Lukas found the ore vines we stop for a moment to check it. It's a rocky area that contains many brownish black stones that scattered all of the places. I take one of the stones to examine it. After examining it, I'm a little surprised with what I found.

”This stone is….ferrite?”

My father is a blacksmith, he shows me many kinds of metal that can be used for his workshop. One of them is ferrite which contains irons. Of course, it needs smelting process before it can be tempered as an iron product.

”Master Ikki, what do you think?” Lukas who sees me examine the stone asks for my opinion.

”This area indeed has iron source mister Lukas, you're lucky to find it”
