25 Chapter 25 - Day 3 (2/2)

As soon as he does a clap of sounds out from behind the group. They all turn back and find seras smiling while clapping.

”Congratulations Bishop, you just told on me to 'mommy'.” She says the last word sarcastically.

”Shut up you blasphemer! You no longer will be able to antagonize is so much.” He yells at her.

”Oh really? Aren't I only antagonizing you?” She asks back knowingly.

”What!?” He says with a yell before looking at the rest of the Iscariots.

He notices that despite they're anger they actually agree with what she said.

'How is she doing this!? There was nothing in her file that suggested she was this intelligent. I have to calm down, she is making me look bad.'

”Fine. Yes, you're annoying me to an almost impossible degree.” He says after a few seconds in thought.

'Oh? He calmed down. Now I get to see how he has become the leader of the Iscariot organization.'

”Good. I'm glad we're on the same page. You see, you guys are trespassing into our home on some trumped up reason. I just wanted to make it more difficult for you.”

”What do you mean?”

”Well last night, I've moved all the information inside the family library around so it would make your search much more difficult.”

”What!?”

”See? I don't have to antagonize you directly. Good luck getting Sir Integra to make me help you with your search.” She goes to the door to walk out.

Before she touches the doorknob she speak again.

”Oh yeah, I left you a little something on the table.” She leaves in a human fashion after saying so.

After she leaves they all look at the table and find another letter folded neatly. Maxwell nearly yells in madness before Renaldo opens it and is confused by the message.

Maxwell takes it roughly before reading it.

It's just a big number 5 written in blood like ink.

”What does this mean?” Maxwell asks nobody in particular.

”Isn't it the fifth time you have insulted her?” Yumie asks.

”DAMN IT ALL TO HELL!!!!!!!” He finally loses it and yells loudly.

Seras hears that in her bed and chuckles to herself.

'That was fun.'

The day goes on with all members of the Iscariots searching the 3rd and 2nd floors. Every room was overturned and turned into a mess.

All of the soldiers were angry during the whole ordeal. Not because they're searching through their rooms personal and professional, but because they didn't clean up afterwards.

Seras wakes up and hears the whispers of soldiers complaining about the Vatican members.

'Wow, is this payback for being angered or is he just that rude?' She thinks as she gets up and then remembers about the training tonight.

She jumps out of bed and looks to the throne. She notices that Alucard isn't there and his coffin is laying next to it.

She walks over to it very slowly trying not to make any noise that a vampire can hear. She does it successfully and leans next to the coffin trying to listen in.

'Wait. Do vampires even breathe? I know I do but couldn't that be because my body is still used to it?' She thinks as she listens more intensely and doesn't hear anything.

'Should I knock on it? But what if he is still in there and gets mad? He won't train me anymore.'

If any of the other Hellsing members were here they would get surprised at her hesitation. The vampire who can kill without hesitation and remorse is hesitating in this situation.

'I'll just do it.' As soon as her fist is an inch away from the door her master appears behind her.

She yells in surprise before turning to him.

”What were you doing Police Girl?”

”I was....um.....checking to see if you were awake.”

”I see. I'll let it go this time, but It's incredibly rude to knock on somebody else's coffin, especially when they're your master.” He goes and sits on his throne.

”Master?”

”Yes?”

”Um.....” she tries to ask about her training but she doesn't want to anger him anymore.

Alucard just looks at her as she gets sad and he begins to laugh.

”HahahahaHaha. I was just messing with you Police Girl. I didn't forget about your training.”

”You're so mean master.” She complains and he laughs again.

”Ok, we're going to be going back to that room where I punished you. So, follow me.” He disappears after saying so.

After he goes seras follows him after. A few seconds later they appear in the room where seras almost died.

She notices that the room is completely clear of the corpses earlier and she turns to her master with a questioning expression.

”I returned them to where they came from. You really put them through hell Police Girl. They said that they would rather die than face you again.”

”They didn't die?”

”Of course not. When I teach you how to summon familiars I'll tell you all about it.”

”Ok.”

”Before I begin, I have to clarify what we are to you Police Girl. I was going to wait until you drank my blood and became a Nosferatu, but you have exceeded all of my expectations.”

She smiles smugly in a joking manner.

”You see, vampires that we faced before aren't true vampires. According to Integra's research they're man made copies based on a true vampire.”

”I see.”

”You already knew that, but what you might not have known is that these 'true' vampires aren't really true vampires. Well, they are and they are not.”

”What do you mean?”

”This is difficult to explain. Let's see, ok let me say it like this. I'm a first generation vampire. I have turned myself into a creature of the night. You are a second generation.”

”I'm with you so far.”

”These true vampires are actually descendants of vampires like you and I. They're weaker versions of the true vampire, so they don't have all of our abilities.”

”Oh, I understand now. Is that why Helena couldn't gain the memories and abilities of those she drinks from?”

”That's correct. You see only the first and second generation vampires have these abilities. Any one after will not.”

”Ok. But why did you explain this to me before we start training?”

”One of the abilities that we have and they don't is that ability to alter our appearance.” He says this and changes himself to look like he did when they went to Brazil in the ova.

”What I have done is not just change clothes. I altered my physical appearance which is impossible for others.”

”Why?”

”That's because they're not the same as us. True vampires, Nosferatu, do not have physical bodies. We are projections of our soul using shadows.”

”What?” She asks majorly confused.

”There is a shadow world that is always around us. Nosferatu are able to use these shadows to form physical manifestations of our soul to roam the planet.”

”Ok?”

”You're not fully like this because you're still a fledgling. However you are able to alter your clothes the same way.”

”Is that why you're able to be shot by blessed bullets and stabbed by Anderson bayonets without dying?”

”Yes. They still hurt like hell though.” He chuckles darkly.

”If all of this is true, then how did Abraham Hellsing experiment on you to make you stronger?”
