18 Vol 1 : Ch 18 - I have something to tell you after a month (1/2)

Rei was now sleeping quietly but then wake up because of her phone since she's the type of a light sleeper that whatever noise she heard from her slumber state she will got awake right away. Rei get her phone from her desk and looking to the screen then realize whose calling her.

”Yes, hello Aunt Meng.”

”Ah Rei, I'm sorry to disturb you but Xue still not calling us after you message me that you already informed her. Then I can't even contact her”.

” It's alright Aunt Meng, let me see if I can reach her.”

”Then I will hung up .....” got interrupt by Rei

”Don't worry Aunt, I will call her thru my other phone” which is her personal number. Rei search her number then call but only the answering machine she heard.

After hearing that Rei can't reach her, Aunt Meng getting worried more.

”What I'm going to do Rei? Do I need to report it to the police?”

”No, you can't Aunt, Xue is a heiress and if it got leaked, your company will be in a mess.” Answered her hurriedly.

”Then what I'm going to do?”

”Let me see.” Then right away she got an idea 'I hope it will help them and hope that I won't mess up. If I remember correctly Vin works at their company right? Well if I'm wrong, I will take it as my responsibility since it's my fault.'

”Ah, by the way Aunt Meng, I forgot to add you this afternoon but Xue informed me that starting on Monday she will conduct a secret evaluation and survey of your service crew together with Captain Vin and it will be last for a month.”

Rei just reason out and hope it will not become more worst just because of her excuses so that the two of them will not be busted but unknown to her, Vin already suggested it to the board of members and the only difference is Vin will be the only one who will conduct the evaluation and survey then the approval from board of members are already signed only left from informing him that it was approved.

”Ah, you're right Rei but never taught that Xue will also part of this plan.”

'What? I just reason out and never taught it already happened.'

”Did Captain Vin already aware of it?”

”Not yet, I'm going to inform him but I forgot because of Xue since she never contact us and I got anxious and forget it totally, if you didn't inform me Rei, I might get scolded from my husband since I'm the one in charge to inform him.”

”Oh, it's alright Aunt Meng”

”By the way Rei, how did you know about it? Are you Captain Vin girlfriend?”

”Xue share this to me and ask for my opinion. Captain Vin and I are just friend, Aunt Meng”. 'In the future Captain Vin will be your son-in-law Aunt Meng'.

”You and Xue are really the best buddies. I will hang up now Rei and I will call Captain Vin right away maybe they we're already discussing this and waiting for the approval.”

”That.....”

”Something's wrong, Rei?”

”Nothing's wrong Aunt Meng.”

”Then I will hung up now Rei and thank you for picking up my calls.”

”You're welcome Aunt Meng. Ha, ha it's my honor to pick up your call Aunt Meng, especially knowing your identity.”

”Geez Rei, you're really a good girl and nice. Go back to your sleep, Rei and bye.”

”Bye, Aunt Meng”.

After hanging up, Aunt Meng call her secretary and order her to call Captain Vin then give the phone to her if it's connected to him.

Vin and Xue are still facing each other. Xue is waiting for Vin reply but his phone suddenly ringing, he get his phone from the pocket and after seeing the caller, he got nervous right away.

'Chairman Meng Secretary? Why? Did Rei tell her already about Xue? No it can't be, Rei is not a blabbermouth.'

Xue noticed Vin reaction and she guesses that maybe Rei was the one who called. 'This idiot.... did she know how to give up instead fighting with me?'

”Madame Meng I can't reach Captain Vin”

”Call again, he might a little bit busy and didn't notice the call”.

” Yes Madame” then call him again.

Vin notice his phone ringing again and answered meanwhile Xue is still angry by the caller.

'Is she's an idiot? I'm a heiress while she just a commoner? Who give her confidence to fight with me? If she really want to have.....' got interrupted by Vin voice.

”Good evening Secretary Lin”

'Secretary Lin? That's Mom secretary. Don't tell me that idiot already informed Mom. That idiot I will kill her for sure. How dare she is to complain with my Mom?''

”Good Evening Captain Vin, Madame Meng wants to talk with you.”
