Jia Wei, one of his classmates, tousled Lu Fengyi's hair without warning. Honestly speaking, Lu Fengyi himself did not expect to score so high, however since he did, that must've meant that he had remembered his basics correctly. Pulling up the results screen, Lu Fengyi looked carefully for mistakes, however almost every subject he saw was flawless. It was only until the final three sections in which he found glaring mistakes.

Knowing that he had only answered several questions in the entire Chinese section, Lu Fengyi was not overly surprised by the score, however he was quite disappointed as well. At that moment, Yang Boyi began to announce the top and bottom marks for each subject in the examination.
”As you all know, after the test, I announce the highest and lowest mark along with the person who obtained them. This is done in order to give recognition to those who performed well while also allowing the bottom feeders to understand where they went wrong and reflect so that they can perform better next exam.”
The students turned their attention to the teacher, peeking from time to time at Lu Fengyi.
”Ahem, as to nobody's surprise, Lu Fengyi was first overall, with an outstanding score of 914. Well done to him. As for the person who performed the lowest, it's Jie Heng with a score of 92. Jie Heng, I hope you can reflect on your score and use this opportunity to improve before the final examination next year.”
A stockily built boy at the back of the classroom stood up before bowing lightly and sitting back down, ”Yes teacher!”
”I'll now announce the results by subject. For mathematics, Lu Fengyi achieved the highest score of 198 out of 200, Chemistry was also taken by Lu Fengyi with a score of 192/200, Physics as well with a score of 196/200. Unsurprisingly, Xie Yao has taken the top spot for Financial Studies with full marks while Ke Mu took Politics with full marks. As for Chinese...”
Seeing their teacher pause once more, the students once more glanced at Lu Fengyi with suspicious eyes.
”Oi, Lu Fengyi. You got top marks again, didn't you?”
”I never thought that he would be able to ace Chinese as well. It's quite hard these days.”
”Then again, he got almost perfect marks in the first three subjects, so it wouldn't be that surprising.”
Yang Boyi showed a stifled expression before continuing, ”That's not it. Xie Yao was the one to get top marks in Chinese, obtaining 187/200, however...”
The class anticipated in unison, ”However...?”
Yang Boyi sighed deeply, ”Lu Fengyi obtained the lowest marks in Chinese, with an... interesting score of 8/200.”
