10 Stopped! (1/2)

The sun rises as birds chirp and it was morning already. Naota obviously was the first person to wake up. He saw Freddy sleeping near the window where he was keeping an eye out for people trying to kill Naota.

Naota moves near Freddy.

(Dude's been awake all night huh?)

Naota looks out of the window.

(Thankfully, the barrier is still intact.)

Several minutes pass and both Lily and Maria wake up right after Naota does. ”How do you wake up so early?” Maria asks as she yawns. ”I am here with big sis Maria, how do you wake up and we don't even know about it?” Lily questions as she rubs her eyes.

”Wake up, buddy.” Naota wakes Freddy up by hitting his knuckle on Freddy's head. Freddy begins to rub his eyes. ”I am sorry, I fell asleep.” Freddy says. ”No biggie, nothing happened it seems.” Naota says as he puts both his hands inside the pocket of his blue tights near his thigh. ”Let's get moving then.” Freddy says to Naota. Naota and the others nod.

Naota and the other's begin to run outside. Naota carries Lily on his back. ”There they are!” The thugs notice Naota and the other's and begin to run after them. ”This way Naota!” Freddy says and Naota follows him. Naota and the other's were continuously chased by the thugs and goons around the city.

”Woh! Isn't that the gate that leads to the outside?” Maria asks Freddy. ”Yes indeed.” Freddy replies. ”So are we going to lower it?” Lily asks Freddy. ”Not us...” Freddy smiles. ”But there is someone else that is going to.” Freddy says with his smile. ”Hmm?” Maria and Lily look confused.

(I think so I already have the idea of who is going to lower the gate.)

As Naota and the others begin to get closer, the gate opens and the bridge to cross across the gate lowers.

On the top of the gate, there stands the blonde girl with a blindfold with her sword intact near her waist and bodies scattered all over the place. She smiles. She jumps down from the upper floor to the bridge.

”Adana!” Naota says as she joins their party. ”Let's get out of here.” Adana says with a smile. ”Understood!” Naota says to Adana. ”There is a carriage I prepared for us yesterday night. It should be here somewhere.” Adana says to Naota and the others. ”We see it madam, it's right in front of us...” Freddy says to Adana.

Adana slides and stops her running tracks. Everyone including Freddy stops to see what Adana is about to do. Adana readies her sword as a huge amount of thugs follow her and the others and head towards the bridge. ”Petal slash!” Adana says an attack name. In a blink of an eye, the whole bridge collapses and every thug falls into the water under. Alligators pop out from under the water and eat them ripping their bodies and intestines apart.

”So that's what's there...” Naota says as he puts down Lily.
