9 The Midnight Meeting With Freddy! (1/2)

Naota has been hiding throughout the whole day. His been running away or either taking down people that trying to kill him. He has no choice but to wait until midnight.

(Right now I have level up twice. I have two ability points.)

Naota hides in a barrel and checks his ability tree. ”If I have two ability points that means I can have either fire speed, ice speed or one of the five abilities under hand-to-hand combat.” Naota keeps on looking around. ”I think this suits me the most.” Naota clicks on street-fighter.

(As a kid, I have always been a street-fighter so been a martial artist is going to be weird for me.)

Naota realises something.

(Like in a game...I actually have memorised some combos...This is new.)

Naota checks himself. ”Can I possibly perform those moves I have learnt?” Naota questions himself.

”Hey there!” A thug looks into the barrel Naota is in. Naota sighs. ”RISING UPPERCUT!” Naota uppercuts the thug into the air. ”THERE HE IS!” The thug begins to follow Naota again. Naota begins to run away again.

At midnight, Naota is crouched at a building's rooftop and looks at the empty ground. He sees that Freddy arrives along with Maria and Lily.

”Where is he now?” Freddy says as he looks around. Naota looks around Freddy.

(Everything seems fine for the time being at least.)
