”Every one form up, quick!” Zeyner ordered every protector who rushed towards the protectors office.

”Sir, reporting in!” A protector shouted as he rushed from the East side of the city.

”I sent you and your brother, where is the he? Report!” An exhausted Zeyner yelled at the protector in front of him covered with blood.

”Sir, the east gate has fallen, hundreds of demons have passed the gate. Every single civilian and protector in the East side of the city are being slaughtered like animals. I lost my broth..e..r, that's all, sir!” The protector's eyes were filled with tears but not one drop fell from his eyes.

Zeyner placed his hand on the protector's shoulders as he lowered his eyes as if he was mourning for a moment.

”Sir!...they are going to spread to the entire city if we don't stop them here.” Isao shouted as he marched in along with Hisashi.

”All the Protectors are heavily exhausted, they can't fight, sir! We will be ordering them to die if we decide to fight. What are your orders, sir?” Nariko stated the facts as she looked at the state of the protectors. Nariko arrived at the protectors office before Zeyner did. She was the one who rung the city bell, alerting everyone.

”We cannot stop them from spreading without fighting and we do not have enough energy to create another barrier either. We cannot protect the city any longer. The commander and the protector's army have started out a week ago, but they would take at least a week before they arrive. We won't last the night if this continues.” Zeyner stated as he glared at the burning east side of the city.

”I need everyone to go on a death mission...” Zeyner asked slowly with a heavy heart.

”What do you..mean..sir?” Nariko asked slowly as she looked at Zeyner.

”Half of our forces would hold their position here and kill any and every demon who tries to enter the city while the other half heads deep into the east side of the city and evacuate everyone to the west of the city and....Nariko, send the distress signal, let the other city's know that Areon has fallen...” Zeyner ordered as he gripped his Soul sword.

”Hmm...I will go into the city, sir.” Isao came forward as he sighed. He knew what would become of him, yet he was a man who took his vows very seriously.

”Don't have all the fun for yourself, I am coming as well.” Hisashi came forth as he said those words.

”I am going to be heading in myself as well...just so you don't feel lonely...Nariko, you are in charge here, you are the best we got left and send someone to fetch Izumi.” Zeyner slowly unsheathed his Soul sword as he said those words.

”Celeritas...!” A bright cheetah spirit beaming with energy came out of his Soul sword and looked at him with fierce eyes as it waited for orders.

”Time to hunt mate...” Zeyner said slowly as he looked towards his spirit, Celeritas, to which he replied with a growl.

”Let's go people...for Areon!” Zeyner charged forth into the city along with his spirit while half of the protectors including Isao and Hisashi followed him. The other captains and the remaining protectors stood in a line across the city facing the east, fully prepared to take down any demon that approaches them.

Nariko ran to the Protectors office to signal the other city's for help. She started to infuse her energy in a small glass ball placed on Zeyner's desk in his office, which would blast to send a distress signal towards all directions, when infused with enough energy.

”Ken...! go get Shin and some weapons from the warehouse, now!” Ryu ordered as he rushed towards the workshop with Lia.

”Dad, take care of mom!” Ken rushed out of their house and headed towards the warehouse only to find that Shin was missing in the warehouse. ”Brother Shin....” Ken looked around in a hope to spot him. Ken grabbed whatever weapons he could and looked around one more time.
