19 Day 18: The Scum Is Cautious (2/2)
Officer Su nodded and patted the head of the snake. ”Do you know how the monsters are born?” he asked.
Cang Sheng didn't answer.
”They weren't born as monsters. But they were humans.” He said.
Cang Sheng's eyes went wide, shocked.
Officer Su continued. ”There's a rare illness, until now I still don't know.” He said. ”But, the illness was born the same time the humans are born. It's implanted on their body. I don't know how, but it already is.” He explained. ”And my mother is one of them. And so are the whole royal family.” He said, then lowered his head.
Cang Sheng's eyes went wide, shocked. So it's really this Officer Su is the prince. He thought and looked at the snake.
If the royal family has the illness, then...
”You have the illness, too?” he asked, his voice soft.
”I don't know...” Officer Su answered. ”Will you leave me if I have?” he asked, then held his hand tight. He looked at Cang Sheng.
Cang Sheng's eyes went wide, shocked. Why does this feel familiar...? He thought.
Before he could come up of an answer, Officer Su leaned down and kissed him. His eyes went wide, shocked, when he felt the familiarity of the kiss.
Officer Su's eyes went wide when Cang Sheng wrapped his arms around his neck. He smiled as he wrapped his arms around Cang Sheng's slim waist and pulled him towards him.
Cang Sheng's heart beat fast, excited, when he felt the same warmth. He smiled after their kiss. He caressed Officer Su's face as he stared in his deep, dark eyes. ”I know I already feasted my eyes on you earlier, but I still can't get enough of it.” he said, then cupped Officer Su's face. ”So... that means I can't leave you.” He said and smiled.
Officer Su gasped, then his deep dark eyes became misty as he stared at the beautiful man on his arms.
”Hey. Don't cry. It doesn't sui – mm!” Cang Sheng said when Officer Su kissed him again. He chuckled and kissed him back. He didn't object when he laid him on the grass as he opened his clothes, kissing him softly.
”Sheng...” Officer Su called, his hand caressing his cheek.
Cang Sheng snuggled his cheek on Officer Su's warm hand and kissed it.
”My name is Su Yin.” He told him, then kissed his forehead. ”But I guess you already know, since our soul is familiar with each other.” He said and looked at Cang Sheng.
Cang Sheng smiled and laughed. ”How about you make our body familiar with each other, too?” he asked and kissed Su Yin.
No matter the appearance... no matter the built... no matter the name... their feelings towards each other will find its way.
The original Cang Sheng finally regained his memories and immediately reported to the king. The three princesses actually followed him towards the F country for their plot and killed him when he resisted. The monsters on the country then nursed him to save him. He then lived with them for days.
The monsters were the past princesses and queen of the kingdom. An illness that has been passed down for generations to the female children of the royal family.
More like a curse, actually. Cang Sheng thought. The royal family is cursed, and the curse is to turn them to a monster if there'll be an ugliness in one's heart. The curse is awakened when the princess will reach the age of their prime.
Fortunately, the king already knew this curse. ”Have you found my son?” the king asked on his deathbed.
Cang Sheng nodded.
The three princesses gasped, their expression ugly.
”He's beside me.” he said, then smiled as he turned to Su Yin.
The three princesses gasped, wide – eyed, and turned to Su Yin. ”You - !” they said, shocked, as they pointed to Su Yin.
Su Yin ignored them. He smiled to Cang Sheng, then his face turned cold when he looked at his father. ”Your Majesty.” He called, even his voice is cold.
Cang Sheng grimaced.
The king coughed, regret and sadness on his eyes. ”I hope you can forgive me for being coward.” He told Su Yin.
The king, after finding out about his wife's curse, fled in fright and forgot his only son.
Su Yin just nodded. ”You can rest now. I'll never forsake the kingdom unlike you did to your son.” He said coldly, then stood beside Cang Sheng.
The king lowered his head as he closed his eyes. ”Officer Cang...” he called.
”Yes?” Cang Sheng answered.
The king opened his eyes and looked at him. ”Do you... find someone in my heirs... beautiful?” he asked.
”Yes.” Cang Sheng answered.
”Is the... one you forgotten... but still loved... one of them?” he asked.
”Yes.” Cang Sheng answered.
The king smiled. ”I can finally leave this kingdom in peace... in your hands...” he said and closed his eyes, never to open them again.
The three princesses wept, trying to wake the king that will never wake up again.
”Who is this heir of that old man you like?” Su Yin asked, frowning.
Cang Sheng laughed. ”It's not 'like'. It's 'love'.” He told him.
”Who?” Su Yin asked again.
Cang Sheng laughed, holding his stomach. ”After what happened that night you still doubt me?” he asked and looked at Su Yin.
Su Yin's face flushed. ”Who knows if you're just playing with me!” he said, embarrassed. He looked away. ”This is the first time I fell in love, you know?” he said.
Cang Sheng smiled. ”Mm.” he said. ”Since every life for us is a first.” He said, then bowed. ”Your Majesty.” He said and looked at Su Yin. ”Your orders?” he asked.
The fellow officers that already knows their relationship knelt and bowed before Su Yin.
”We'll welcome the monsters that're also the members of the royal family.” He declared. This secret was already out to everybody's shock. ”We're going to cohabit with them.” He said.
”Yes!” they answered and bowed.
Su Yin turned to Cang Sheng who's still bowing to him. Pain crossed his eyes. ”Don't bow.” He told him.
Cang Sheng stood straight.
”Look into my eyes.” Su Yin said, impatient.
Cang Sheng did as he told and looked in Su Yin's deep, dark eyes.
Su Yin pressed his lips tight, mad. ”Can't you do as you want to do?” he snapped and glared at Cang Sheng, pissed.
”How can I?” Cang Sheng calmly answered. ”I'm in front of the king – ”
”Then I'll leave the throne – ” Su Yin said.
”Don't!” Cang Sheng yelled, then froze. He looked at the others. He just shouted at the king.
Su Yin smiled. ”How feisty and brave.” He said and held Cang Sheng's chin. ”Just fitted to be my queen – ” he said and smiled. Cang Sheng's eyes went wide.
Before he could speak, Su Yin already kissed him.
The author (and Sheng) has something to say:
Sheng: ... now it's just me and you.
Gray Dragon: ...
Sheng: ... if you're not the author, then it's only me here.
Gray Dragon: ... are you lonely?
Sheng: ...
Gray Dragon: ... are you sad?
Sheng: ...
Gray Dragon: ...
Sheng: ... how won't I be lonely when I'm alone here?
Gray Dragon: ...
Sheng: but I'm not sad. I'm already used to being alone.
Gray Dragon: ... I feel the same.
*the point of being sentimental XD I'm just ranting for being lonely. Don't mind me. XD
