28 Semi-finals (2/2)
One by one, the semi-finalists came on stage and announced their number.
”Number two!” Shouted Jathra as he smiled at Yren, he had been wanting to fight him throughout the whole tournament.
”Number seven” Announced Nero, one of few youths who managed to summon a second rank beast, his spiritual beast was a Black Buffalo.
...
”Number nine!”Said Yren looking at the other clan members with his nose pointing towards the sky.
After Yren, it was Rainer's time.
When Rainer came on stage, he passed Yren and heard him say:
”You're lucky you won't fight me, I wouldn't let you give up...”
*Pa!*
Yren's words were abruptly interrupted by a sudden slap.
The slap was so sudden that Yren was unable to react to Rainer's attack.
”...”
The audience was silent, no one dared to swallow saliva that accumulated on their mouths fearing to miss such an event!
”Don't think you can do whatever you want in my clan,”older brother”.”
Rainer's words surprised Yren, he didn't take long to realize what Rainer was meaning by calling him thus.After all, Rainer had never called him older brother!
”He knows it all!”
A murderous light appeared through Yren's eyes, he had already decided to kill Rainer no matter the cost, he couldn't let anyone know his secret or he would be killed without even leaving a corpse behind!
With his face red and inflamed, Yren came down from the stage and left in shame, after drawing the number nine, it had already been decided that he would be the first finalist since he had no adversary.
Rainer ignored the surprised glances from the audience and picked up the remaining number.
”I got the number 1!” Shouted Rainer after looking directly at Jathra, his upcoming opponent!
The numbering decided the opponent and the turn for the fight.
Numbers one and two would fight in the first place and so on.

Thirty minutes later, the arena was clear and they both climbed onto the stage.
”It looks like you will be the warm-up, Rainer. After I'm done with you, I'm going to defeat Yren and I'll become next Patriarch!”Said Jathra before he started laughing.
”It seems that everyone from this clan is too ambitious, let me teach you not to bite more than you can chew!”Said Rainer after he prepared for battle.
”Lerna!”
”Vamon!”
A golden snake three meters long and a half meter wide surrounded Rainer as she looked threateningly at Jathra.
In front of Jathra, a grey wolf with a small horn on his forehead howled.
A Dire Wolf!
A demonic wolf endowed with great physical abilities who was able to use dark magic due to its horn on its forehead!
”This fight will end in an instant...” He said before ordering his Dire Wolf to attack Rainer at his signal.
”Let the battle begins!” Shouted the elder in charge of the semi-finals.
