29 Rainer vs Jathra 1 (1/2)
”Let the battle begins!” Shouted the elder in charge of the semi-finals.

After the fight began, Jathra ordered Vamon to attack Rainer with dark magic.
A black sphere was formed on Dire Wolf's horn, when it reached the size of a soccer ball, the wolf threw it towards Rainer.
The wolf only needed a few seconds to prepare that magic, but Rainer, who was on guard, was able to dodge the attack with ease.
”Lerna!”
Rainer, along with Lerna, charged against Jathra and Vamon.
Dire Wolf's strength lies in the fact that it can use dark magic, if you take that away from him, it's just a stronger wolf than a regular one.
That's the reason why a close combat is the best strategy, or being bombarded from afar by Vamon's magic.
Seeing that they were both approaching, dark rays began to crunch around Dire Wolf's horn!
A lightning storm!
With such powerful magic and no shelter, Lerna surrounded Rainer with her body and she received the whole impact.
”Ssss!”
Rainer was able to feel the pain that Lerna was going through, shortly after the storm stopped, a burnt smell covered part of Lerna's golden scales.
”Damn...we can't continue like this...”
Said Rainer as he saw how Jathra and his beast were keeping their distance. His plan was to bombard Rainer with magic and exhaust him little by little.
”It was Jathra who said that the fight would end in an instant, what a coward...”
”I didn't want to show all my strength until the end, but I have no choice but to do it.”
Thought Rainer as he prepares his strategy.

On the other side of the stage, Jathra still had his stupid smile on his face, for him the fight was won.
”Although Vamon can't cast spells forever, it would still be enough to exhaust both of them and then finish Rainer down.”
Thought Jathra, he already saw himself as the next finalist.

Jathra knew Rainer wouldn't give up so easy, but he was surprised when he saw Rainer withdraw Lerna from the fight!

The voices of the elders and the audience, echoed on stage, everyone considered Rainer a coward for giving up without even fighting.
