”I don't know how I made it through this, but I'd better hurry back before another unexpected event comes up.”

Rainer managed to reach the clan at midnight, when he arrived at the entrance of the FairWind City, the guard was surprised to see his deplorable condition, but surprisingly Rainer had no scratch on him!
Finally he arrived at his lodgings where Alisha was waiting for him.
”Aaaaaaaaaaaah! What happened to you Young Master! Who did it! I'm gonna gut him and make him swallow his insides!
Alisha looked like a tigress mom whose kittens were kidnapped, looking for a culprit to pour her wrath on.
”It wasn't anyone from the clan...”

”I-I went to the Mist Woods with Lerna, we managed to kill a Silverback Ape, but on the way back we were ambushed by a Berserker Wolf that was more powerful than us, I almost died...”
Rainer briefed Alisha about the events that afternoon.
”How dare you go into the Mist Woods by yourself, even Yren brings his bodyguards!”
”Young Master, what you've done is reckless!”

Rainer was reprimanded by Alisha until late in the night.
”Young Master, if you had died, I would have nothing else to live for and I would have followed you.
So please appreciate your life a little more, since mine belongs to you....”
After listening to Alisha's words, tears kept flowing down Rainer's face, he started to feel that he finally had something to bind him to this world.
At an early age, he became an orphan when his mother was ill.Rainer's mother and father embarked on a journey from which they did not return, leaving the couple of brothers under the protection of the clan.
Alisha was Rainer's single support not just in the clan, but in the entire world and he barely noticed it now.

Alisha didn't say anything, she approached Rainer, placed his head against her chest and hugged him like a mother embraced her son.

The last memory Rainer would remember from that night was sleeping into Alisha's warm embrace.
The next morning, Rainer woke up after midday and he felt as if a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.
He had opened his heart to Alisha last night, so he couldn't let her down, he must protect her!
A sharp flash crossed Rainer's eyes, he had already prepared his heart to achieve his purpose.
”First time in this world I've really decided to do something”
Rainer smiled at the idea of fighting for someone else.
