Rainer couldn't help but curse his luck, after a hard battle against the Silverback Ape, they had to face a Berserker Wolf.

The berserker wolf growled at Rainer showing his hostility against him.

”The Acid Bath strategy won't do anything against it, it's too strong. We have to reach the clan....”

The wolf knocked the ground with its front paws just before it rushed at Rainer,Lerna leaped up to catch the wolf but how would a one-meter snake be able to stop a charge from a wolf that was several hundred kilograms in weight?

After the impact, Lerna's body flew away leaving shattered scales on the ground,which had obviously injured her severely,but the wolf didn't escape unscathed either because its right eye had suffered a corrosive attack from Lerna, blinding it.

Rainer was glad to see through his bond that Lerna was still alive, but the Berserker Wolf reached him before he could help her.

Seeing the wolf's jaws approaching at his neck, Rainer instinctively raised his arms as he used his mimic skill.
