53 Getting Settled in Danmachi (2/2)

Haha, now that is a deal that I want. I mean, like I said don't need too much furniture since I don't really need that much but this will definitely be a nice thing. I smile as I reach my hand out to shake her hand and she smiles in return while shaking my hand. After that we spend the next 30 minutes on a contract (it would have been 5 but I read the whole 30 page paper and all of the small text. It was fine, basically them saying that I am getting ownership of the house, and after this is signed all damages to it will be up to me to fix. She even added in the detail about the furniture and extra time for security, which I appreciated.

After signing everything I handed her over a check(apparently they have a checking account system) for the building. She then said she would send me over the key and the deed in a few hours since it was the afternoon, she just had to deposit the money into the account for the company she is in.

True to her word, at around 4 o' clock she showed back up and told me that it was fine to go move in now. Honestly, I was amazed at how fast it was all put together, but all I could think of saying was 'As expected from a fantasy world.' As I checked out from the shelter and began walking to my new house(property?) I noticed that Athena was following me, so I asked her, ”Aren't you going back to your hotel?”

She put her book down and cocked her head at me, ”It was destroyed.” You tell me this now? My god just how irresponsible is she?

I look at her, ”You seriously underplayed just how much responsibility I was going to have, didn't you?”

She then raises an eyebrow, ”My hotel was destroyed after I told you I would take care of you. I told you it was destroyed as well.” Bullshit, you said it was too small!

Wait, did she mean it was crushed? Fucking shit, isn't Athena supposed to be smart? All I can see from her is a total bookworm though. Okay, calm down. Just give her a room. I'll steal the biggest bedroom since I bought it, hopefully her room will just be out of the way so that I don't have to go and deal with her besides giving her her books.

After walking for about an hour, and getting lost for 30 minutes, I managed to go and find it once I got closer to the guild. Along the way I actually left a formula everywhere I thought would be important, I didn't go by the tower though (well I still have the formula at the top, but I need one at the bottom) so after I go there for the first time I'll leave a formula.

When I tried entering the property I was stopped by some random guy standing in front of it who asked to see the deed, and after I showed it to him he nodded and walked away. What a strange guard. At least I hope he was a guard.

But man, this place is gorgeous. They even managed to clean up everything so now there is no dust around. I look around the entrance way for a bit and then walk off to go the master bedroom that is in a corner upstairs. I remember looking at it and saw that it was actually very well sound proofed, so I am excited to not have to hear any crafting later on. I actually want to sleep in a soft bed too, so I guess tomorrow I'll go and open up a doorway to bridge this world and my dimension too. It'll be good to have those shinobi get stronger, plus having helpers would be nice over here.

Plus I miss Tsunade and Darkness... Well I'll be fine, it hasn't been too long and it's not like I did anything else dangerous after dealing with the chimera.
