15 10 Million Points (1/2)
After closing in to the the third and final course of the race, everyone else had just made it past the second barrier. Tang Hao turned to face Ling Mengyu on her flying sword. ”Mengyu what stage are you at?” he asked
She didn't say anything but revealed her cultivation stage, seeing the great difference in their cultivation Tang Hao exclaimed ”What?! The peak foundation establishment stage?” he then smiled wryly as Ling Mengyu nodded her head and got past him
”She must be really talented to be at the peak of the foundation establishment stage, I wonder when she started cultivating. If she started at the same time I did then that may be a problem.” he thought. Arriving at the final course a minefield, it didn't affect Tang Hao or Ling Mengyu as they were on their flying swords
The two then sped up and raced to the finish line, however near the end of the course, Tang Hao's qi started running low and the lightning sword stopped moving. Before falling Tang Hao quickly shoved the sword into the ground before swinging off it and landing then coated his feet in qi and ran as fast as he could
As Tang Hao begun to catch up to Ling Mengyu on her flying sword, she sped up again. An announcement could be heard throughout the stadium, ”First place Ling Mengyu!” Tang Hao then made it a few moments after. Another announcement could be heard ”Second place Tang Hao!”
On the screens at the stadium, Tang Hao could see Bakugo catching up with Todoroki, they grabbed each other whilst running, Boom! Midoriya riding on a piece of the Faux machine slid past them, the two begun to stop fighting and catch up to Midoriya. After a while Midoriya made it through the course with Todoroki and Bakugo catching up shortly afterwards
Another announcement could be heard throughout, ”Third Place Midoriya Izuku, A tie inFourth place Todoroki Shoto and Bakugo Katsuki!” Bakugo and Todoroki then looked at Tang Hao and Ling Mengyu who had made it way before they did before going elsewhere to rest. Tang Hao came up to Midoriya and said ”Congratulations Midoriya kun in coming third place beating even Todoroki and Bakugo!”
”Hahah thanks! Though you and Ling Mengyu were amazing beating us by a large margin, also how were you guys flying?? And on a sword too?” Tang Hao looked at him and said ”Well, let's just say it's something like martial arts you see in movies.”
A while later Iida, Uraraka and others made it to the end. Tang Hao walked next to Ling Mengyu as they started to rest and regain their qi. After everyone made it to the end, points were distributed among the top 40 or so contestants
Midnight then introduced the second round, a chivalry battle, each team consisting of four people. One riding on top of two others behind and in front with each person holding a headband worth a varying amount of points
The person in first place's headband is worth 10 million points, Midnight then allowed 15 minutes for everyone to form a team. Naturally Ling Mengyu formed a team with Tang Hao as they were similar in strength and familiar with each other, Tang Hao then asked Ling Mengyu to let Midoriya be the third person of their team
