152 Are You Jealous? (1/2)
Giselle was bawling like a child when she listened to his story. Brian could neither believe his ears. Who ever thought that such dedication still existed today? But who was he to judge him?
”Ton,I'm not the right person to tell you this but if my opinion would be solicited,I would suggest that you must move on now.”
Giselle just listened. She was already tired of his stubborness. Let him be. She was only his confidante. And she was more than willing to do the task. Once in her lifetime,he never had a second thought in saving her from shame. Even if he had to sacrifice his love for her bestfriend.
To think, she was the reason why Jia refused to marry him. It was all because of her.
Just as the dawn broke,Anthon took Giselle to the airport and dropped Brian in his home. He felt a heavy load was lifted out of him when he was finally able to share it to the listening ears of his friends.
He took a quick shower and laid down on his bed. He put off the light and soon drifted into a peacefulsleep.
One summertime, when white and blue skies sailed into the sky,he stood at the end of a red, velvet carpet. In his right side was the crystal - clear sea waterwith tiny waves rolling out into the shoreline.
He wore a grey tuxedo and a white inner shirt.Tears lurked in the corners of his eyes as he looked at the opposite far end of the carpet. There she was, walking gracefully in her beautiful, off - white wedding dress.
While she walked to the rhythm of the bridal march, her tearscascaded likelovely waterfalls.
Those were tears of joy.
He almost couldn'twait for her to reach midway. He was too eager to finally take her hand as his bride. He was to eager to say the words,
”I do. ”
When they were finally proclaimed as husband and wife, the first clap to cheer them was from his son. He was already ten years old. And their flower girl was Little Jianna.
Her beautiful face was the last scene before she was awaken by a call.
It was Jia.
”Ton,I'm sorry for disturbing you. Your son won't just stop crying. What did you promise him?”
His sleepy voice went through the line. ”Jia,you should have allowed me to see the end part of my dream. You're so mean.. ”
”I woke you up?Sorry...but should you be instead in your office at this hour? ” Jia wondered if he was sick.
”Are you sick?Wait,I'll be there in few minutes.” Jia went ahead.
”No,no... I'm not. I just did not sleep last night.” Anthon reasoned out.
”Why? ”She was curious.
”Giselle was here. I just took her back to the airport.”
Jia was silent. Just what did they do to keep him awake all night?
”Are you still there? ”He asked.
