He said it was a kintsugi (¹) he said that the bowl represents our relationship, the bowl, although it was broken, can still be repaired.

the golden streaks means that change is inevitable but can be still accepted.

You see, even damages and breakages can be beautiful.

Just like how he wanted for us to fix our relationship. He wanted to start over by mending and accepting our flaws and difference.

He had searched for us before and he said he always carried the bowl just in case he got lucky.

After we met, I decided to move out to a different city the next day cause I got scared that he will exhaust himself again if we move back to him.

I don't know why I had commitment issues with your dad, all I know is that I don't want to see him live miserably just because he love a failure like me.
