Ivy burst out crying while tightly holding TP's hand. TP suppressed her emotions and waited for her mom to continue.

”I'm sorry, Fan-Fan, I'm a failure as a mother. I got scared so I started to run away.

I'm selfish for not telling you all about the truth cause Im afraid that you will hate me for what I did. I'm sorry. I hope you can forgive me.”

TP looked at her mother,she doesn't know what to say to her. So she just pointed out at the door.

Her mom stood up and quietly left her room. As soon as her mother closed the door, tears started to stream down her face.

All her life she hated and cursed her father for abandoning them but all of it were just a lie.

She lay down and stared at the ceiling for whole day. Thinking about what her mom had told her.

She had lost her appetite and didn't even had dinner.

Grandpa Chang assumed that she was just sleeping so he didn't disturb her.

It was past midnight when she finally had some shut eyes. When she woke up, it was already lunch time.

She notice that there was a small gray bowl with golden streak and a paper inside it placed on top of her side table.

She picked up and read the letter and saw a familiar beautiful handwriting.

This bowl was given to me by your father when he found and met me a few years back after we runaway.
