177 Forgiveness (2/2)

Hearing her reply, Xu Fei Yi's face showed a faint smile. Unfortunately, since his face was buried deep in between XuanRong's neck and shoulder, she was not able to see it.

Xu Fei Yi felt relieved. The anxiousness inside his heart finally vanished.

Ever since XuanRong decided to leave the residence in order to 'visit' Chen Fu, Xu Fei Yi had been formulating his plan. Since young, his body was weak because of his 'illness' but thanks to his internal strength, he was able to suppress it for years except during full moon. Thus, in order to make it look like he was on the verge of death and force XuanRong to stay, he had been suppressing himself. Therefore, when the 'illness' relapsed, Xu Fei Yi did not use any of his internal strength to counter it and ease the pain.

Xu Fei Yi took a gamble.

He had been waiting for this day. The moment Xu Fei Yi realized that XuanRong was able to alleviate the pain and might be able cure his 'illness', Xu Fei Yi had been eager to know the truth.

Unfortunately, before he was able to do something, he was sent in Jing Country for five years, and when he came back, he was unsuccessful in his first attempt and was hindered by her shadow guard. Thus, Xu Fei Yi had made all the preparations beforehand in order to avoid any irrelevant person destroying his plan. That was why no one was present at the back courtyard during full moon. Even if XuanRong screamed at the top of her lungs or even if the things inside the room were all broken, no one would be able to hear the noises. That was the reason why XuanRong's people, especially her shadow guard, An Wei, did not appear, leaving XuanRong all alone while trying to defend herself against his aggressiveness.

The only think that made Xu Fei Yi regret was when he was not able to restore his rationality and almost raped XuanRong, forcing her to sleep with him. He did not expect that the pain almost made him lose his control. During that time, Xu Fei Yi could no longer retain his sanity, thus, he acted like a person who was possessed. The moment he felt XuanRong's smooth body, it was as if his body was being purified. The pain lessened and a soothing sensation slowly crept inside his body. Bit by bit, he desired more. Something was telling him that it was not enough. That he should possess her, take her body and release himself inside her. If not because of XuanRong's tears and the hate in her voice, Xu Fei Yi doubted if he could control himself that time.

He was an arrogant man and would not put other people in his eyes but XuanRong was different.

At first, he was only curious about her. he only wanted to know if she could really lessen the pain brought by his 'illness'. As time goes by, after finding out that she could really alleviate the pain, Xu Fei Yi's desire increased, wanting to find out if she could cure him… later on, after he came back from Jing Country, he was able to know her more. She was different from other people. She was ruthless but she had compassion. She was arrogant but she was down to earth. She was a strong-willed woman but she was a weak little kitten. His desire to use her as his cure had changed to his personal desire to possess her.

He needed her.

He wanted her.

She was his.

Only his.

Xu Fei Yi did not know when it started but for him, XuanRong's feelings and her attitude towards him were the most important things for him. He would not know what he would do if XuanRong had decided not to forgive him.

He could only repeatedly ask forgiveness, hoping that her anger towards him would lessen.

Luckily, XuanRong decided to forgive him and his sins.

Xu Fei Yi and XuanRong both laid on the bed silently while being in each other's embrace.

The two of them did not talk but there was an explicit understanding between them, making a harmonious air.

On the other hand, the situation at the QinWang Fu's gate was the total opposite.
