75 Surprise! (1/2)

Ria felt the strength in her body leave as the fights they had in the past started to surface in her mind. Her tears kept flowing like a waterfall as her memory finally stopped on the day she left I country while she was pregnant with the twins.

That amount of grief is something she can't digest that easily. She didn't know whether to continue with the marriage or not, now. She didn't know what to do and laid there while her mind wandered. She came back to consciousness when she heard her kids laughter in the hall way.

She grabbed her towel and went straight to the bathroom.

The moment Ren left her room he went straight to his car and drove to his office. On the way he called Josh, the phone was answered in a single ring. Without any greetings or whatsoever he asked, ”Did you complete your task?” Josh replied immediately, ”Yes, President”.

Then he hung up. He pushed the accelerator and sped down the streets. His mind drifted to how Ria looked few minutes ago. Tears were sliding away from his closed eyes while she looked exhausted, not because of the kiss though. He wanted to trust her but he was frustrated, terrified to be exact when she disappeared on him like that.

He knew he pushing her and hurting her. He is trying to change, to make her happy, to make her feel safe. But, when he found that in her bag, all hell went loose. He, himself couldn't understand what he felt that time, furious? ashamed? or despair?

Soon he reached the office buliding and went straight to his office. As expected, Josh was waiting in his room with a file on his table. Ren settled on his seat and asked, ”Report?” Josh cleared his throat and said, ”Madam was with her mother in the hospital all night in the city. She had a minor pain due to excess stress and fainted in Raj Mansion.

Miss Lucianna had given her a call last night when Madam was in the parking lot, so she went straight there with her Secretary who had forgotten her phone in the office. Which she collected not less than few minutes ago. So both of them was in the hospital till dawnand later Madam dropped Peggy giving her a day off then came to Kozhaksi Mansion”.

Ren knew the proof for whatever Josh said now is in the document on his table. He wanted to smash his head in the wall now. He felt furiated upon himself.

Josh stood rooted to his place without any movement or making any sound. Ren looked up which was frightening and said pushing the document in the table forward, without opening it once, ”Burn it”. Josh replied immediately, ”Yes, Sir” and took the file but still stayed in the room.

Ren asked in his icy voice, ”Is there anything else you have to say, Mr.Joshua?” He hesitated and wanted to shook his head so that he can leave as soon as possible from here.

But he muttered his courage up and said, ”Even... Even though the hotel Mr.Shen was staying is in the same area they didn't meet each other and he had left the country early morning, Sir”. Ren forced a smile in his face which looked really really nerve threatening and said, ”Great, If you may” while his hands showed the door.

Josh gave a slight nod and rushed out of the room. Ren fell into a deep thought.
