Valerie was on the other end, she somewhat got an idea of what he is saying. She smiled and said, ”Okay, Ren. Tell her to visit home often. We miss her too”. Ren replied in a completely reassuring tone, ”Ofcourse, Aunty. We will”.
Valerie just laughed and hung up. Ria who was next to him saw that, this man has taken lots of decisions without asking her. Ren gave the phone back to Ria, he opened his thin lips to say something but Ria's phone rang again.
Ria mouthed the words, 'It is not over'. Then she picked up the call, she said, ”Hello”. A deep and cheerful voice was heard, ”Hello, Miss Ria. This is Aaron, from Shen Corporation”. Ren's eyes narrowed at her when he overheard a man's voice on the phone.
Ria saw his reaction and replied, ”Yes, CEO Shen. What happened?”. Aaron on the other end chuckled and said, ”Congratulations for being selected in the Milan Trend Awards. I saw your nomination two days ago. But I only got the chance to talk to you now.
I was busy with the Collections of gems you asked for and some other company works. The stocks will be delivered tomorrow at your company”. Ria smiled a little and said, ”Thanks CEO Shen for your co-operation and your wishes. Regarding the finance and transportation, you can directly contact the Vice president, Emma”.
Aaron replied, ”Okay. And.... If Miss Ria is free tonight, I can arrange for dinner. And you should definitely bring your kids”. Ria said in polite tone, ”I'm afraid it is not possible. I'm out of town, CEO Shen”.
Aaron immediately said, ”No problem, Which country are you in? I can fly to you!”. Ria looked at the guy next to her whose expression is turning darker, every minute. Ria said, ”It is not about when or where Mr.Shen. It is about who with whom. I'm with my kids and their father right now.
I'm on a vacation for two weeks. And I can never be available to have dinner with you other than official purposes”. Aaron face lost life when he heard her. He then talked about the company stuff for few seconds and hung up.
He just saw her once, he was impressed by her so much that his heart took a sharp hit just now when he heard her. Even at this moment, he liked her honesty. She rejected him outright without giving a chance to react.
On the other side, Ren who was next to Ria heard almost everything as the room was quiet and he was next to her. He had a frown when he heard her mention him as their kids father, he was taken over by her rejecting that guy the next moment.
'CEO Shen uh? Need to find out who this guy is!', Ren thought. After she finished the call, she was browsing and looking at somethings necessary for her work. She was embraced by Ren immediately side ways. She looked at the warm bag on the corner of her eye.
Ren asked, ”Want to go out for dinner?” Ria chuckled and said, ”What are you? 5 year old kid. Trying to win a guy who you don't even know”. He didnt mind her words and asked, ”Want to or not?” Ria leaned her head towards Ren's head sideways. Then she said, ”When I'm working, I don't like to move often.
Get something delivered here. Whatever the place be, I'm going to be beside you only”. Ren replied with a ”hmmm” and then gave her a kiss on the cheeks. Ria smiled on the touch of his lips and asked, ”Where is this apartment you said to Mom?”.
Ren didn't say anything and looked at the door of the lounge. 'Ofcourse, it is an apartment and very close to his office', Ria thought.
