23 Meeting the CEO (2/2)

Li Wei gave Fan MeiLi a cold smile that did not reach his eyes, ”Why it's nice to meet you again, Miss Fan.”

When Fan MeiLi heard CEO Li, she kept a calm face and bowed, ”CEO Li, it's also nice to meet you as well.” She said in a respectful tone.

Mo Han went over and handed Li Wei, Fan MeiLi's work profile, but Li Wei didn't bother to look at the papers. He instead just continue to look at her, ”Miss Fan, I'm sure that my assistance told you what you'll be doing in your new position.” He said.

Confused, Fan MeiLi glanced over at Mo Han but found him avoiding her gaze. ”I was told that I'll be working at the secretary desk.” Fan MeiLi said with a little worry in her voice.

”That's correct. Mr. Mo will be taking on more work and I'll be in need ofsomeone to help me with my workload.”

Hearing what CEO Li said, Fan MeiLi felt something was wrong with this whole situation. How could a new employee such as herself be able to handle the job of helping the CEO?

”CEO LI, I believe there is a mistake.”

”Mistake?” Li Wei asked lifting his eyebrows.

”Yes. I just started working at the Hansoo Company no longer than a month, how could I be qualified for this position.”

Instead of answering Fan MeiLi's question, he gave her a wicked smile. He then looked down at the secret file he had composed about Fan MeiLi and wanted to laugh at her attempt to fool him.

”You don't have to worry about qualifications, as long as I said you are good then that is enough. The job is yours do a good job and don't disappoint me.” Li Wei said ending the conversation.

Seeing that she wouldn't be able to change his mind, she accepted her fate. Mo Han was also feeling calm as the conversation ended between Fan MeiLi and his boss. His nerves were a mess when Miss Fan started to question the big boss since many never had the nerve to attempt such a task. Looking over and seeing Li Wei was calm he motioned for Fan MeiLi to follow him out of the office.

The three of them each felt like a battle took place in the office, not knowing a huge storm was coming their way.
