23 Meeting the CEO (1/2)
When Fan MeiLi arrived at the top floor she saw three other ladies sitting around looking at documents or talking to each other. A part of her was surprised to see other waiting around on the top floor lobby but the other part of her was feeling great that she wasn't the only transfer. Hopefully, she could hide behind the other three and let them shine. While she was in her hopeful thoughts, a gentleman with a handsome face and well-tailored suit came over with a clipboard.
”Hello everyone, I'm Mo Han the head secretary to CEO Wei and will be in charge of your transfers.” He said with a smile.
”Sir, why are we being reassigned all of the sudden?” A woman asked.
”You all showed great potential in your departments and caught the eye of the CEO. It was his idea to promote you in hopes that your talents will grow.”
”I'm grateful for the opportunity and hope you can give my regards to CEO Li.” A red-haired lady in a red business suit said with a bow.
Mo Han nodded his head and lead everyone over to a small conference room, ”Before you go meet your new superiors, you have some new HR documents to sign.”
Fan MeiLi looked over the paperwork and found that it mostly the same when she first entered the company. The only thing different was that there was a confidential form which made her look up in confusion at Mo Han. That was when she noticed that the other three wasn't shocked but happily signing everything in front of them.
When we were all done Mo Han collected the forms with a smile, ”Looks like everything is in order, if you ladies follow me, I'll show you where you'll be working.”
After twenty minutes of waiting it was finally time for Fan MeiLi to figure out where she would be placed. Seeing that she was walking closer to the CEO's office, a nervous feeling was rising inside and made her footsteps heavy. When they stopped in front of the secretary desk, Mo Han stopped and gave her a smile.
”Miss Fan, this is your new department. You'll be the personal assistant to Hansoo group's very own CEO.” Mo Han said.
Fan MeiLi felt as if the floor would cave from under her but she kept her composure and gave him a calm smile. ”Mr. Mo, can you tell me why I'm assigned her of all places, I'm a new employee at the company.”
”As I said before, CEO Li saw potential and wants to help it grow. He believes that you'll do best by his side.” After he said that statement he knocked on the door to the CEO's office.
Taking a deep breath she followed behind Mo Han while trying to keep a calm smile plaster on her face. When they entered, Fan MeiLi heard Mo Han introduce her while she gave a bow to greet her boss. Feeling a cold shiver run down her spine she lifted her eyes and made contact with an icy glare.
