”Grandpa had called for a meeting tomorrow morning with the shareholders. Cousin sister, what are you planning to do now?” Li Ming Han asked.

Once news that Li Mu Chen was responsible for the incident, the public's anger began to shift from Li Qin Yao to Li Mu Chen. Whichever it was, QL Group could not escape the public backlash.

The mayor of B City had contacted Li Qin Yao and had expressed his unhappiness and concern on the matter.

The Tourism City project was an important project for the city as it was planning to promote historical sites. They had put a lot of hope and money that this investment in the project would soon bring more tourists to the city.

Now that QL Group was facing this scandal, of course, the mayor would be worried. If this project failed, then, wouldn't he failed too? After all, it was his decision to approve the project.

Back then, he had chosen the QL Group due to their proposal and reputation. Now, he was reluctant to continue their cooperation due to QL Group's reputation. This was the second time that QL Group was involved in a scandal after the Tourism City project began. No one could predict that something like this would happen again.

Li Ming Han did not dare to guess at his cousin's decision although he had a hunch at what she was going to do.

Li Qin Yao exchanged her gaze with her husband and smiled as she looked at Li Ming Han. ”It's exactly as what you guess.”

His eyes widened, before the flicker of light in his eyes dimmed. ”You… planned to resign?”

”Isn't that the only thing I can do in my situation?”

Li Ming Han heaved a long sigh. ”Grandpa would not be happy about this decision.”

Li Qin Yao smiled.

Even if her grandfather would be unhappy, there was nothing she can do about it. Because of Li Mu Chen, she was no longer qualified to manage the project in B City. It would be hard for her to continue working on the project. They would have no choice but to hand over the project to someone else.

Previously, Li Qin Yao had mentioned that she had wanted to stay close to wherever her husband would be. Therefore, she had no intention to return to Capital City. Since she could not work in Capital City nor B City, it would be best if she handed over her resignation letter.

Li Ming Han heaved a long sigh at the thought that the company would lose someone very capable just because of Li Mu Chen's jealousy and foolishness.
