Chapter 320 - What Baby? (1/2)

Mister Shen could feel the temperature suddenly drop when Zhang Yu Han ran out of the elevator. He lowered his gaze and braced himself to get some scolding or a few punches knowing that he had not done his job well. He knew very well that Zhang Yu Han was someone close to the Qi's family and had trained with the Eldest Master previously.

Suddenly, Mister Shen could imagine that Zhang Yu Han and his master, Qi Ming Wei would be raising hell because of this incident.

But it was his fault. When he had accepted this task, he was told that he had to protect Mrs. Zhang and had taken lightly of the job. After being around Li Qin Yao for a while, he could not understand why his boss would send him to protect her. It's not as if she was living a dangerous life. Thus, Mister Shen did not notice that speeding car heading towards them.

Fortunately, that other guy was around to pull the Missus. If anything happened to her, Mister Shen was sure that he would not be alive.

Sensing that the man had stopped in front of him, Mister Shen began to shiver.

”Where is my wife?” Zhang Yu Han's deep voice sounded especially frightening at this moment.

Mister Shen swallowed to calm down. He looked up and pointed to a room. ”That room.”

Zhang Yu Han did not spare another glance at the bodyguard and quickly walked towards the room. Without hesitating, Zhang Yu Han pushed the door open and entered. As soon as he walked in, Zhang Yu Han saw that his wife was with companies. He could understand why Yin Mei Xuan would be by his wife's side, however, Zhang Yu Han could not understand why Han Yue Xiu's boss would be in the same room.

Instead of asking that question, Zhang Yu Han walked over to the bed. He saw his wife's smiling face and gave her a look over. Once he was sure that there was no injury on her body, Zhang Yu Han heaved a sigh in relief. ”Qin Yao, are you alright?”

Li Qin Yao extended her hand to her husband, asking him to hug her. When she could feel his temperature against her body and inhaled the familiar scent on his body, Li Qin Yao sighed in relief. She did not know how scared she was when she was almost hit by that car. Li Qin Yao felt Zhang Yu Han's hand petting her hair softly and suddenly, her eyes and nose turned sour.

”It's alright,” Zhang Yu Han said. ”I'm right here with you.”

”Un,” Li Qin Yao buried her face in his ċhėst. At the thought that both Yin Mei Xuan and Song Yi was still in the room, Li Qin Yao slowly pulled away. However, when she looked up, the two-person was no longer around. Sensing that she was alone with her husband, Li Qin Yao then rested her head on his shoulder.

Zhang Yu Han planted a kiss on her face repeatedly before he pulled her body closer to him. ”Qin Yao, you scared me.”

Mister Shen had taken her to the hospital where Qi Zheng was working at and he had seen Li Qin Yao walked into the building. Using his authority, Qi Zheng then helped her with the procedure and booked the VIP room. Then, Qi Zheng informed both Zhang Yu Han and Qi Ming Wei for this incident.

It was only when he had stepped into the hospital building that he heard about the accident from Qi Ming Wei. Zhang Yu Han could feel his body turned cold at the possibility of what could happen to his wife.

”Sorry,” Li Qin Yao said.

”What are you sorry for? It was not your fault,” Zhang Yu Han said with a sigh.

”If Mister Song was not around to pull me in time, I might get hit by that car,” Li Qin Yao said as she told her husband what had happened.

Hearing that Song Yi had helped to save his wife, Zhang Yu Han's anger towards him lessened. He can still remember the way Song Yi had grabbed his wife's hand previously and had kept his grudge.

The couple spent their time comforting each other until a knock came from the door.

Zhang Yu Han pulled away and turned towards the door to see that Qi Ming Wei had appeared.

Qi Ming Wei glanced at the two's expression calmly and walked in. ”How are you?”

”I'm alright,” Li Qin Yao said.
