”When did I acted sneakily?”

Zhang Yu Han did not answer but leaned in to kiss her on her lips. When he pulled away, Zhang Yu Han watched as his wife scurried out of the room and came back with a paper bag in her hand.

”Your birthday present.”

”What did you get me?” Zhang Yu Han raised a brow as he took the paper bag. He took out the gift wrapped in the blue and white wrapping paper and frowned as he tried to guess what was inside. His gaze paused when he saw what was inside—a blue shirt.

”You don't like it?” Li Qin Yao asked cautiously when she saw that he did not have many expressions on his face.

What with that slight disappointment on his face?

”This is from you. Of course, I liked it. Just that,” he paused to meet her gaze. ”What happened to you, wearing sėxy lingerie and tying a bow on yourself and giving yourself a gift?”

Li Qin Yao felt the corner of her lips started to twitched. That was what Han Yue Xiu had suggested, but back then, she had thought that it would be too crude.

Who would know that her husband would like something like that?

However, at the thought of that strange ears and tail, Li Qin Yao decided against it. She did not think that she was brave enough to wear something like that and she did not want Zhang Yu Han to think that she had a strange hobby.

”Why would I give you something that's already yours?” Li Qin Yao linked her arms around his neck and kissed his lips in an attempt to coax him.

Zhang Yu Han thought about her words for a moment and nodded. He held her waist tighter and said, ”That's true.” He bent down to rest his forehead against her and pecked at her lips. ”Wife, you are mine.”

Hearing his possessive words in his deep and vibrating voice, Li Qin Yao's face turned red. No matter how many times she had heard this voice, she would always have goosebumps.

Swiftly, she pulled away from him. She took the cupcake on the table and handed it back to him. ”How about taking a bite? I worked hard to bake this for you.”

Zhang Yu Han stared at the cupcake on the plate and suddenly his lips curled into a roguish smile. ”Qin Yao, do you know how to eat a cupcake?”

”Ah?”

He picked up the cupcake on the plate and stared into her eyes, causing Li Qin Yao to be mesmerized at the twinkle in his eyes. ”You don't know? Come on, I'll show you how to eat a cupcake.”

Li Qin Yao did not why, but she suddenly grew anxious.

”First, you lick the frosting.” Zhang Yu Han brought the cupcake close to his mouth and licked the cupcake. ”Then, slowly, you tear the cupcake liner.” While maintaining his gaze on her, Zhang Yu Han started to peel off the liner. ”Then, you take a bite.” Following that, he took a small bite at the cupcake.

By the end of his demonstration, Li Qin Yao felt her back started to sweat. ”Zhang Yu Han, why do I feel like you're not really talking about eating cupcakes?”

The smile on his lips grew wider. Zhang Yu Han put the cupcake back on the plate and leaned forward to lick her lips before he plunged into her lips for a kiss.

Li Qin Yao shuddered when the cold air blew on her skin. It was then that she realized that her pajama has been peeled off.

Zhang Yu Han's words about eating cupcakes surfaced in her mind and Li Qin Yao had a hunched that she was about to get eaten.
