Zhang Yu Han was supposed to conclude his business in two days, but unexpectedly due to some matters, he had to extend his stay in M City.
With Zhang Yu Han's absence, Li Qin Yao has been busying herself with work. If she was not in the office, Li Qin Yao would head over to her cafe to look over her small business.
These days, Li Qin Yao no longer have to run around to run both her cafe and the development project.
After she had chosen Qing Kong and trained her to manage the cafe, her business grew steadily.
With Qing Kong finally ended her training and was appointed as the manager, Li Qin Yao was able to focus more on the development project in B City. She only needed to show up once in a while to look at the report and discuss their promotions and performance.
On Thursday morning, Li Qin Yao headed to her cafe and poured herself a cup of coffee. Choosing the nearest table to the counter, she sat down and began to review the report that Qing Kong had prepared for her.
As she was focusing on the performance of her cafe, her phone on the table hummed a soft vibration.
Li Qin Yao glanced at the screen and smiled happily when she saw her boyfriend's name. She put down the documents, leaned back on her seat, and answered the phone.
”What are you doing?” Zhang Yu Han's deep voice greeted her.
”Just reviewing some documents in Lilium,” Li Qin Yao spoke. ”I'm waiting for Liang Sheng to come over and report the progress with WS Group.”
”Hmm? Weren't you supposed to be at WS Group to sign an agreement with them?”
”I've met with their manager, Mister Huang last night, and signed an agreement,” Li Qin Yao said. ”Liang Sheng only went to WS Group to make an appearance.”
Although her ȧssistant, Liang Sheng, or Xiao Lian Yi would accompany her, Zhang Yu Han would still worried. However, that was something that she could not avoid due to her position.
When she heard his soft cough on the line, her brow began to furrow. ”Are you alright?”
Zhang Yu Han cleared his throat and replied. ”I'm fine.” He smiled. Though he knew that she could not see it, Zhang Yu Han was happy to hear her concern. ”Qin Yao, I'm calling to let you know that I'm at the airport with Jun Hao. Our business here is done. My flight should land in Y City around two,” Zhang Yu Han reported. ”Do you want to meet later?”
A wide grin gradually appeared on her face at the thought of meeting him. ”You're not busy?”
Zhang Yu Han chuckled. ”I just wanted to see you. Qin Yao, I miss you.”
Li Qin Yao pressed her lips tightly when he unknowingly lowered his voice and made it sound deeper. Suddenly, her ears felt hot. Slowly, she nodded. ”Alright.”
”Tell me when you have finished. I'll come over to see you.”
The two of them chatted for a while longer until Zhang Yu Han announced that he needed to head over to the departure hall. Li Qin Yao ended the call and soon, picked up the documents on the table to continue her task.
