Chapter 201 - Something Came Up (1/2)

”Did we decide to sign with WS Group?” Li Qin Yao asked. She placed the documents on her desk and turned to her ȧssistant, Liang Sheng.

The bespectacled man nodded. ”Miss Li, you have approved to sign with WS Group two weeks ago. You are scheduled to sign with the company this Thursday,” Liang Sheng reported.

Li Qin Yao reviewed the documents all over again. The quotation from WS Group was up to their budget and Li Qin Yao could not find anything wrong with what the company was offering.

The only thing that she did not like about WS Group was the probability that she was going to see Chen Hao again. It was fine if the two of them could treat each other as friends, but the last time that Chen Hao had come over to discuss the agreement, he was insistent on getting back together.

Chen Hao should have known that she was the type of person who would never go back once she had left. He was the one who pushed her aside when she needed him. Since he was the one who chose to withdrew from their relationship, it was no longer possible for them to return to the past.

Moreover, she now has Zhang Yu Han by her side.

Zhang Yu Han had treated her well that she would sometimes found it unbelievable to have him as her boyfriend. Since she was happy to be with Zhang Yu Han, she did not want to do anything that would hurt him. She was not someone who would betray a relationship.

She had agreed to give their relationship a try and was determined to give her all.

”Is there any problem with that document? Should I look at it over again?” Liang Sheng has been observing his boss's expression for a while and noted that something does not feel right. Thinking that he had probably made a mistake while checking the documents, Liang Sheng was anxious.

”No,” Li Qin Yao replied quickly. She turned to Liang Sheng and smiled. ”Just arrange everything according to plan.”

The contract draft with WS Group has no flaws and she was very satisfied with it.

At the thought that she shouldn't be mixing her personal feeling with business, Li Qin Yao decided to let it pass.

She could always choose to ignore Chen Hao if he continued to pester her again. Or else, she could request WS Group to change the person who they had to deal with.

Liang Sheng nodded at her instruction. Then, he started to brief her about her schedule. Now that she had returned to the office, there were countless of people that she had to meet and a dinner meeting to attend.

When Liang Sheng finished, it was a few minutes away before their meeting started. Li Qin Yao walked over to the pantry and prepared herself a mug of coffee.

Just as she was about to take a sip from her steaming coffee, her phone rang.

Li Qin Yao stared at the caller ID for a while and smiled when she saw that it was her boyfriend. It was only two hours ago that he had given her a call. It was unexpected that he would call her again at this time.

”Are you in the office?” Zhang Yu Han asked after a brief greeting.

”Hmm…”

”Busy?”

Li Qin Yao chuckled. Though they were far apart, Li Qin Yao could detect a smile on his face. ”Liang Sheng shoved a mountain of documents to review the moment I walked into the office.”
