Chapter 184 - Our Yao Yao Brought a Friend with Her (2/2)

Li Sheng exchanged a glance with his wife. A smile crossed his lips when he figured out what his niece was up to. ”Your grandparents should be in the back, resting. They said they will come out once the others have arrived. The two of them are alone. If you have something to say to them, you should go ahead.”

Li Qin Yao felt heat creeping to her face as her intention was exposed. After chatting briefly with the husband and wife, Li Qin Yao then dragged Zhang Yu Han to find her grandparents.

Once Li Qin Yao and the man had disappeared among the crowds, Li Qin Yao's second aunt, Zhao Wei immediately left her friends and walked over to her brother-in-law.

”Brother-in-law, sister-in-law,” Zhao Wei smiled amiably at the couple. ”Who was that with Qin Yao?”

”Yao Yao introduced him as her boyfriend,” Li Sheng said with a smile.

Hearing the answer, Zhao Wei's eyes brightened up. ”That girl has a boyfriend?” She turned towards the direction where her niece and her boyfriend disappeared and knew right away that Li Qin Yao was going to introduce that man to the elders.

”Did he said anything about her boyfriend?” Zhao Wei asked Wen Shu Yue.

”We didn't get to ask,” Wen Shu Yue answered. ”After all, we still need to greet our guests.”

Zhao Wei's eyes dimmed. But once she saw that a few more guests had walked in into the hall, her smile went back on her face.

Meanwhile, Li Qin Yao continued to hold on to Zhang Yu Han's arms as the two of them went to search for her grandparents. After checking with the staff for the direction, the couple then walked along a corridor and headed towards a room.

Li Qin Yao tilted her head to look at Zhang Yu Han with a teasing smile. ”Mister Zhang, are you ready?”

Zhang Yu Han let out a chuckle before he pressed his lips on her forehead. ”Alright, now I'm ready.”

Li Qin Yao let out a giggle. She lifted her hand and knocked on the door gently. After a few seconds of waiting, her paternal grandmother, Mu Ling Xi appeared at the door. Once she saw her granddaughter standing at the door, a smile curved on her lips.

”Yao Yao, you're here. Is it time yet?” Mu Ling Xi called. Her eyes paused at the tall man beside her granddaughter. She gave him a look over, but her gaze stopped at the couple's linked hands.

”Grandmother, is Grandfather here?”

Mu Ling Xi snapped out of her thought and smiled to the couple. ”Come in. Your grandfather is just reading” She moved aside to let the two into the room.

Once the two walked in, Mu Ling Xi immediately went to her husband who was focusing on the newspaper on his hand.

”Old man,” Mu Ling Xi's voice sounded urgent as he shook her husband's arms. ”Our Yao Yao brought a friend with her.”

Li Ren Xin frowned at the sudden disturbance. ”What friend?” He cast a displeased look at his wife and looked up. His movement paused when he saw a tall man beside his granddaughter.
