Li Ren Xin stood up as he recalled his conversation with his granddaughter the other day. She had mentioned about introducing some people to him.
Because he had asked his granddaughter to send the invitation card to her project partners, Li Ren Xin had expected that his granddaughter will introduce to her partners from Zhang Group and NEXT Group.
But, looking at the way his granddaughter was holding the man's arms, Li Ren Xin doubted that his granddaughter was coming to introduce him to her business partners.
”Grandfather,” Li Qin Yao broke the silence.
Li Ren Xin snapped out of his thought and coughed. ”Yao Yao, you're here.” He peeked at the door and asked, ”Your mother is not coming with you?”
”Hmm,” Li Qin Yao nodded slowly. ”You know that my mother was not ready to meet the others.”
Although her mother's relationship with her paternal grandparents had slightly improved after the encounter at the cemetery, her mother still did not change her mind to attend the wedding.
”Grandfather, grandmother, I'd like to introduce you to someone,” Li Qin Yao tightened her grip on ZHang Yu Han's arms. ”This is Zhang Yu Han, my boyfriend.”
”Hello,” Zhang Yu Han then greeted the elderly politely.
Meanwhile, Li Ren Xin stared at the man with a scrutinizing gaze.
”Zhang Yu Han?” Li Ren Xin repeated. He placed a hand under his chin as if he was in deep thought. Then, he looked up again. ”Are you from Zhang Group Worldwide?”
”Yes.”
Li Ren Xin turned to his granddaughter in confusion. Previously, he had heard that Chairman Zhang from Zhang Group will attend the wedding reception. As someone from the corporate world, of course, Li Ren Xin had heard about Chairman Zhang. Was he not an old man from his generation?
The frown on Li Ren Xin's face deepened as he tried to recall the name of that chairman.
”Chairman Zhang is your grandfather?”
”He is,” Zhang Yu Han said.
Li Ren Xin turned to his granddaughter before Zhang Yu Han could say anything else. ”Didn't you say that Chairman Zhang will attend today?”
”Hmm,” Li Qin Yao nodded. ”Zhang Yu Han's grandfather will attend the wedding separately. I came here early because I wanted to introduce my boyfriend.”
Suddenly, it came to him that the Zhang Group had only agreed to invest their money in their project because the grandson was dating his granddaughter.
However, as he continued to eavesdrop to his wife's conversation, Li Ren Xin found out that his granddaughter only started dating after they have won the bidding.
A thought crossed his mind and Li Ren Xin was suddenly annoyed that Liang Sheng had not informed him of any news about the two of them getting together whenever he came to Capital City with the progress report.
