Chapter 17 (1/2)

But I won’t live with it any longer. It’s inevitable, because the old Alyssa is gone.

Nevertheless, this is my revenge for me(OG ALyssa).

‘What should I do with Louise?’

It seems that it would be unreasonable for me to stay in tune with my personality. It was necessary to send Louise out of the Fenvernon Dukedom, even in order to block information from entering the emperor. To do so, I needed a perfect excuse not to argue, ‘How dare you kick out my maid!’

‘I need to find a way.’

What should I do to get her out as soon as possible? The afternoon ended while I was thinking about various things.

As I was watching the duke’s wide garden and the spires beyond it, the duke’s butler, Sylvester, came to visit.

The duke’s mansion during sunset was quiet.

It’s not just when it’s dinner. The duke’s house was always calm and desolate, as if submerged in water. I swam through it like a slow-moving fish.

The estate of the Fenvernon dukedom was huge, as it was the axis of the five dukes reigning over the Empire. Hundreds of rooms were used differently and were all spacious and elegant.

There were patterns of camellia flowers, the symbol of the family, throughout the mansion. I went back to my room and carved the flowers into my eyes as if I were looking for a hidden picture.

The Camellia of Fenvernon.

It was the last name of this family.
