Listening to the explanations, Single Eye had looked rather vacant and pensive for the first time.
” From now on, I want to follow this 4th prince wherever he goes. Even though the possibility of him able to read that book is close to none just like the people from the Bennett family. I don't want to take any chances. This book might have the location of that thing and it is also the only thing left behind by that traitor.”
” You need to recover that book as soon as possible and get rid of him. I can't risk anybody knowing those secrets. The 15th Eye is on his way to assist you.”
” As you wish Progenitor.” Answered the old man. He clearly knew how cruel and merciless that person was, yet he chose to spare him even after he failed to acquire that book, so one can imagine how important book is for him otherwise he would have turned into a corpse by now. He was the most powerful person in the organizations stationed in the imperial capital since years ago, which is why the progenitor still have some use for him.
” That's your last chance.”
While the old man was listening to the Eye commands,
Suddenly,
” There you are. I've smelled that nasty aura of yours from a mile away. I've been looking for you for so long, yet you dare to appear within my domain.” That person was clearly angry. Aside from that, there was a deep hatred within his voice.
Soon, and old appeared in the sky above them. This old man had a pair of wings on his back made of flame.
In the Egul continent, only a person with the strength of the legendary Archmage was to use mana to form a pair of energy wings on one's back. these wings enable them to overcome their bond to the ground and fly amongst the clouds.
Other than, there was another way which was flight magic spells. it wasn't as good as the energy wings made by an Archmage but it still allowed a person to leave the ground and fly for a short distance.
Nonetheless, it was a very rare magic spell and can be counted in one hand. Flying was something that was a great temptation to many. In order to fulfill this temptation, many strong people put all their effort into acquiring those magic spell in the Great Tower. As for reaching the Archmage in legend, it was like an unreachable dream for many. that's why most people risk their lives and put more effort into searching for valuable flight magic spells instead.
” I'm going to burn that nasty eye of yours into ashes.”
”Heaven Engulfing Meteor Flame.”
After saying that, a huge red magic circle appeared above the sky like a red blood moon.
As soon as the red magic circle appeared in the sky, the temperature of the surrounding area drastically drop. it was as though this place was located in the heart of the inferno.
In the meantime, hundreds and thousands of fireballs stuck down like a thunderstorm in the dark sky. Balls of fire of differing diameters filled the sky. Although the old man's target was merely the single eye below and the other old man, the coverage area of the 'Heaven Engulfing MeteorFlame' spell was clearly far wider.
As hundreds of fireballs bombarded the ground below, the area where the old was sitting on the stone, transformed it into an ocean of fire. luckily there wasn't any houses or civilians in that areas otherwise they would have turned into a pile of a charred corpse.
Whether it was the old man or the single Eye, they all disappeared without a trace.
” You dare to injure me you this old ghost, It won't be long before I turn your Kalin City including your Djage Empire into dust, mark my words.” While the old man was looking at the damage done by his magic spell below, he could hear an angry voice within the void as the cracked within the sky slowly closed.
Looking at the source of that voice, the old man did not even bother to answer the person before he flapped his fire wings and flew in the opposite direction of the populace district.
