Il-hyun was surprised and looked at them with his eyes wide open.

Even if the plane was lowered to the maximum altitude where it could not be attacked by the monsters below, it was not high enough to allow humans to land without abilities or parachutes.

Suddenly,

Quaang!

The two landed with an explosion.

The road cracked deeply with a loud noise, and debris bounced everywhere.

Seemingly oblivious to the cracked road they left behind, Lee Soo-yeon and Jeong Jin-sung casually stood up and pulled their swords immediately.

“Monsters…” Il-hyun muttered with a laugh.

By this time, though, it was hard to tell if he was talking about the team leaders, or the monsters approaching them.

While Il-hyun looked down and admired, the poison flowed from their right.

It was Craig’s thick poison that shot up to the sky in a straight line.

“Stop!”

The hawk quickly turned, but one wing was covered in poison and melted completely.

Il-hyun canceled the broken form and summoned another hawk.

This time, the hawk summoned skillfully reached the ground safely.

Il-hyun and Sarah landed gently on the road between the buildings.

Near the marked descent, there was a group of dozens of monsters, their first target.

The surrounding buildings were completely smashed.

Creeps surrounded them, monsters with unusually long arms and holes all over their bodies.

Il-hyun and Sarah turned their backs against each other and calmly pulled out their swords.

“You took care of our landing, so I’ll take care of this,” Sarah turned to him and said.

Then, she pulled out a pistol with her left hand.

‘Pistol?’ Il-hyun stared at it strangely.

He has not seen an Awakener use a firearm.

Sarah, unfazed, aimed her pistol at the monsters and drew the trigger.

Bullets were stuck in the monsters’ bodies.

It was successful in breaking through the Creeps’ hard skin, but they continued to approach, seemingly undamaged.

Creeps continued to narrow the distance at an even pace. Il-hyun was not sure if they are wounded by the bullets.

Tangtang!

She did not care about it and continued to shoot.

Then,

‘That’s it!’ Sarah flicked her finger.

Suddenly, there was a massive roar of explosions, and the monsters were blown up on all sides.

KEEK!

The screams of the monsters and the terrible smoke filled the streets.

‘Crazy, what is it?’

Sarah’s B-rank ability: [Explosion].

Il-hyun, who just knew her, was surprised.

Smoke from the explosion diminished, and the bodies of creeping creeps piled up on the street.

They thought the monsters were all dead in the powerful explosion, but one was left standing.

A Craig that’s mixed in between the monsters.

Its black body was larger than that of the Creeps.

Sarah threw her sword at it. It struck the Craig deep into its chest as it flew at a speed that was hard to react to.

The Craig stopped momentarily at the pain, but it was a small wound compared to its size.

It only rushed in more angrily.

Quaang!

Sarah flicked her hand again, and an explosion emerged from the exact area where the sword was stuck in.

There was a huge hole in the area around the Craig’s chest, and it stumbled and lost power while running.

At the same time, Sarah quickly ran forward and raised her right hand.

Kiing!

Her sword flew back to her hands. The sword was still intact even after the explosion.

Then, she jumped at the monster, swinging her sword at its neck.

Kyap!

The Craig’s head flew off as its body fell, lifeless.
