In the Aegis A Team’s exclusive transport, Il-hyun, Ghost, and Jeong Jin-Seong sat in their seats.

Lee Soo-yeon was standing and reading information about the mission.

The difference from the usual was that Team B’s Sarah was sitting where Seok Pil-jun should be.

“The monsters that appeared in the B0 level are Creeps. There’s a lot of them. Pay attention to their long arms,” Lee Soo-yeon said.

Creeps are giant biped monsters. They have appeared hundreds of times in the B rank gates in the past 20 years.

“The Ace Monsters here are Craigs. It’s a black, creepy-looking monster. If you get his by the toxic gas coming out of its back, your coats’ purification function may find it difficult to endure. Don’t be too confident about the new defense coat”, she continued.

“Haha, I will keep that in mind.” Ghost replied with a smile.

Il-hyun looked awkwardly at her mischievous gaze.

“Monsters are appearing all over the city, but the evacuation has ended properly, and there have been no casualties. The buildings have to be completely replaced, though.”

Unlike last time, there was time enough to evacuate the citizens, but of course, there was always room for unexpected situations.

The location on the monitor reached the destination, and Lee Soo-yeon pressed the button.

The door of the transport plane opened.

Il-hyun stood up. He was surprised at what he saw when he looked out.

“That… Is that how wide the gate is?”

“Right.”

Il-hyun opened his mouth with his finger pointing down, and Lee Soo-yeon nodded.

More than half of the city was entirely purple.

Usually, gates had a shape, and monsters came out of them, but this time, the gate appeared as a purple mist covering the city, hiding a massive number of monsters within it.

“It’s hard to land directly at from this high altitude, and the planes can’t even land at all. Each one can jump to the designated descent point according to the monsters’ location,” Lee Soo- yeon said.

She gestured slightly, and a hologram of a three-dimensional map appeared in front of the team.

Each descent’s location was specified in the three-dimensional map.

“Aha, so I’ll go here,” Sarah said as she looked at the map.

However, she did not have the ability to fall from a distance as high as this.

To get down from the transport plane, she needs help from a team member.

Conversely, Seok Pil-jun, who has the ability to leap in the air at any time, was riding on the next plane to drop with a teammate from Team B.

“Yes, you and Il-hyun will go down first and go straight to the second point. Have you checked the location? Now, get ready to go.”

At Lee Soo-yeon’s words, Sarah stood and headed for the entrance.

The transport was almost at the jump point for Il-hyun and Sarah.

He understood that they had to get off at the same spot, but he was not sure how Sarah would go down.

“Wait, where’s your parachute?” Il-hyun asked her.

“What are you talking about?”

“It’s our jump-off! Go fast!”

While he hesitated, the plane was passing over their falling point on the GPS.

To Il-hyun’s surprise, Sarah hugged him, and together, they jumped out of the transport.

“Aw!”

The wind struck his face, and they were falling in a free fall.

In the midst of such an insane situation, he focused his mind.

The air passing by at an enormous speed was captured and transformed into a hawk beneath them.

Il-hyun, shook his surprise off as he rode the back of the hawk with Sarah.

“You should have told me before we jumped!”

“But we almost passed the descent point.”

The hawk flew at an angle and reduced its altitude.

Il-hyun sighed.

He was not planning on jumping unprepared. It seemed like suicide when they jumped without a parachute.

“Wow, it’s amazing.” Sarah was stroking the back of the hawk.

The hawk’s translucent body was shining as it went down at a fast speed.

“I know the Ghost, but how will the team leaders come down? They don’t have abilities for jumping off a plane,” Il-hyun said.

Sarah laughed at his words. “Yeah? Haha, they don’t care if they don’t have abilities like yours. It doesn’t matter to them.”

While Il-hyun was confused, he saw two more people jumping out of the transport.

It was Lee Soo-yeon Lee and Jeong Jin-sung.
