Chapter 265 - Coming Back (2/2)

Gavin talked to him about this already, although he did not disclose all the details. Gavin told him that it was psychological and not harmful to his body. He had this tendency to pass out once in a while and go into a deep sleep. However, it usually would not exceed two hours for him to wake up.

Cain looked at his wristwatch and dismissed the other doctors inside the room on standby, saying he would personally look after Gavin.

He then looked at Brione and said, ”Brione, I think you should head out and eat dinner with uncle Lucas, for him not to worry. Please calm down, and I assure you Gavin is fine. You must get used to this since it will be a normal occurrence now that Gavin's memories are all back.”

Brione wiped away her tears. Cain was right. She should calm down and not let her father-in-law worry since he was unaware of what happened to Gavin.

”Alright, I will go see father now. Please take good care of my husband, Cain. I will come back soon.” Brione whispered and hesitantly left the room.

Cain heaved a sigh and whispered, ”Gavin, wake up soon.”

She was surprised to see aunt Leila who greeted her as soon as she entered the dining area.

”Where is Gavin?” Leila asked, looking at her back.

”Yeah, where is he, dear?” Lucas seconded.

Brione looked at the two and smiled, saying, ”I'm sorry, father. Gavin fell asleep, and I did not want to wake him up. He's been sleep-deprived lately, so taking a nap like this is very precious to him. I will just bring his dinner later once he is awake.”

”True… The poor boy needs some break so let him sleep whenever he can. Oh, but he is the one who asked me to join dinner. You see your thoughtful husband asking me to help you prepare for the royal wedding ceremony.” Leila commented with a teasing smile directed to Brione.

”I honestly think it's no longer needed since we are married already,” Brione whispered with a pout.,

Lucas laughed and said, ”ah, but it's a tradition, dear, so whether you like it or not, you and Gavin have to do it.”

Leila chuckled too as she seconded, ”True. You see, people love seeing events like that in the royal family. Don't worry, dear, I will handle everything.”

Brione smiled and kept her smiles on her face so the two would not notice how worried she was for Gavin. Cain said it would be a natural occurrence since Gavin had all his memories back, but Brione was unsure if she would get used to it if that happened again.

Back in Gavin's bedroom, Gavin was whimpering, so Cain called him, ”Gavin…”

He was too startled when Gavin suddenly jolted and raised her body. He was awake and panting, so Cain instructed, ”Breath in and out slowly…”

Gavin did what Cain instructed as he whispered, ”Cedric… Cedric is back.”
