Qian Jin felt around his chest, turned his hand and took out a silver coin from the warrior dimension. He happened to take this wallet when he was slaughtering in the forest. It managed to be of use at this moment.

Gabriella anxiously followed Qian Jin as they stepped into the school gates. Having been gone for two years, she wondered whether Caeller, the managing director, as well as the department head had removed her name from the student list with some unknown excuse. After all, no such case had occurred before where a student went out for two years to complete a mission.

Oakland Mage and Warrior Academy maintained its old appearance.

Compared to two years ago, nothing was changed; not even a tile or a brick was added to the academy.

In spite of the curious stares of the newly-enrolled apprentices, Qian Jin drove like a chauffeur and took a number of turns on campus with Gabriella, and they eventually arrived at the newest gate of the managing office.

Qian Jin pushed the door open and felt surprised upon seeing the person sitting in front of the office desk. It wasn’t Cealler, but Rodriguez! Another two warrior apprentices were standing by the desk. One of them had a modest look and had golden smooth hair. It was Durk, the strongest warrior of grade one.

The other person had a slender figure, with slightly sunken eyes and short and brown hair that resembled a beast’s hair. He seemed aloof and had a sense of pride that pushed anyone approaching him far away. From his face, a sinister intent could be felt. Overall, this person left people with a frightening impression; it felt like he resembled a demon beast more than a human.

“Umm? When did Oakland Mage and Warrior Academy start taking in such warrior apprentices?” Qian Jin felt lost for a little while, and then turned to Rodriguez who was standing behind the desk.

The office door was opened by someone, with which the radiant sunshine flashed into the room.

The room suddenly became bright, drawing the attention of Rodriguez, Durk and the other warrior apprentice who were chatting with each other. One of them turned back and the other two raised their heads. Noticing Qian Jin standing by the door and wearing a smile, Rodriguez and Durk were shocked, while the warrior apprentice who felt dangerous looked at Qian Jin up and down in a cold and aggressive way.

“You…” Rodriguez pointed to Qian Jin with his shaking finger. His entire body was also trembling slightly, “Qian Jin… you… you’re still alive?”

“Definitely, Professor Rodriguez.” Qian Jin opened his arms and walked to Rodriguez. “I’m finally back after finishing the warrior test.”

Rodriguez moved to Qian Jin, raised his hand and punched at the boy’s chest hard as he said, “You bloke, I used to think that you were clever, but why did you behave so stupidly this time? Even if the mission couldn’t be completed, you could’ve come to me to help you come up with a solution. It has been two years since you left. Do you know that you two were nearly expelled from the school?”

“Oh? I wasn’t expelled?” Qian Jin put a smile to cover up what he had experienced during the past two years. He glimpsed the room and asked, “Where’s Caeller? I’m here to hand in the mission…”

“How dare you call out the name of our dean?” The only young apprentice who had been standing motionlessly opened his mouth. His remarks were as cold as frozen ice, bringing about a cold current to people.

Qian Jin turned back to look at Rodriguez. Without glancing at the ruthless apprentice, he asked, “Professor?”

“Caeller is the dean now.” Rodriguez patted Qian Jin’s shoulder, “I’m the managing director and the department head. That’s why you escaped being expelled. Just hand the mission to me.”

“This?” Qian Jin took out the red hair of the golden-haired monkey king, and then walked to the other side so that Gabriella could hand in the egg of the demon flamingo.

Rodriguez was shocked by the objects handed to him. These were the missions Caeller appointed to the two kids? Wasn’t this asking for their lives? How could these missions be completed? However, Qian Jin succeeded…

Durk was standing behind Rodriguez, and he also quivered upon seeing the two objects. He looked at Qian Jin, wondering how could the two kids successfully obtained these two items.

Rodriguez sighed and looked at Qian Jin as he said, “You must have suffered when getting these two things, didn’t you?”

“Undoubtedly…” Qian Jin recalled what had happened in the past two years they spent in the Four Season Valley. He couldn’t stop explaining, “It can’t be described as suffering, or even enduring a devastating hardship. We were almost killed many times.”

“Alas… at least you have come back alive. It’s good that you’ve returned.” Rodriguez patted Qian Jin’s shoulder, trying to comfort him, “It’s a pity that you missed a lot of lessons and exercises, as well as the warrior energy concentration array. But it doesn’t matter, since I’ll allow you to study for one year more, given my post as the managing director. As long as you try your best to exercise, you still have the chance to catch up with Durk and the other apprentices… pitiful… it’s so pitiful…”

Rodriguez kept shaking his head and sighing. Durk walked to Qian Jin, his classmate who defeated him with one move and became the number one warrior of grade one. Despite disappearing without receiving any preferential treatment, he patted Qian Jin’s arms, “It’s nice to see you back. As long as you spare no effort to train yourself, your chance of catching up with me is still enormous. Pitifully, you cannot take part in the coming competition with me.”

Qian Jin forced a smile, deciding not to argue with him. It was a rare thing for Oakland Mage and Warrior Academy to have nurtured a Level 9 Warrior like Durk. But the truth was, he had already become a Level 9 Warrior when he left the academy two years ago.

“That’s fine. It doesn’t matter.” Durk patted Qian Jin’s arms with his two hands and nodded his head with encouragement. “Trust me. You have stronger talent than me. Besides, you’re hard-working. As long as you make up for the missing lessons and trainings, you’ll definitely catch up with me.”

“I will.” Qian Jin agreed with his classmate. He then turned to Rodriguez, who was still feeling regretful for him and said, “Professor, the mission has been reported. If it’s convenient, I want to go back to see Rollin.”
