Oh, God... I just realized that my dagger shattered. It's the best dagger I have too and now I can't block his attacks with my other daggers or it'll cut me in half. His attacks aren't just precise but powerful enough to cut me in half. He's already using his monster soul, that's why it's too powerful.

*SWOOOOOOSH SWOOOOOOSH!* Holy... those attacks are so hard to dodge. I dodged his slashes but it killed a lot of my comrades from behind. I need to stop him or he'll kill more.

*BAAAAAM BABABAAAAM!* Wait! Assassins! They are killing our frontlines from our sides. We are outnumbered and we are losing. It's an ambush!

*BAAAAAAAAAAAM!* I heard a massive explosion from the assassin's ambush! I can tell it's Scy! He's slaughtering them.

The sandstorm is only affecting our sight. We're losing. Do you have plans, Jay?

I decided to rush towards Siegriel. I'll have the advantage when I'm near him.

*SWOOOOOOSH SWOOOOOOSH!* He tried slashing me from afar but it just missed.

”Your evasive maneuver is on a different level but how about this, BASILISK'S BLADESTORM!” He's planning to use one strong spell while I'm trying to charge at him!

*SWOOOOOOSH SWOSWOSWOOOOSH!* Ugh! The sandstorm started to move so fast that it's like every sand rips us apart!

”AHHHHH! UGGGHHHH!” I can hear the cries of my guildmates that are affected by his spell. It's causing too much damage to our army. I'm also taking a lot because I'm near him.

Huh?! The sandstorm started to calm down. I've felt a great number of movements from above and they are small but covered with a tremendous amount of mana. It's stopping the force of the sandstorm.

”Hey Chara, are you alright?” It's Briam. He's joining the frontline.

”You're not supposed to be in here, Briam. You should protect the supports or they'll get ambushed.” I feel worried.

”Don't worry. They are from our guild and they can handle themselves. Right now, we are not in the best situation. Our army is losing much faster than I thought. I'll take care of the sandstorm and try to defeat Siegriel as fast as you can. We are losing too much because of him.” He's the smartest guy I know so I guess he knows what he's doing. I need to stop Sieg!

”Got it!” I pulled out two of my remaining daggers. I need a clean hit and I can defeat him. His attacks are superb but his defense is lacking.

”ROC'S WRATH! ROC'S FLOCK OF BIRDS!” It's been a long time since I last saw his monster soul spells. He's not using the transformation but he summons a lot of magical birds powerful enough to attack and defend.

They flew around the sky and the sandstorm finally stopped and disappeared. His monster soul is rare but it's too big and easy to locate but defeating it took us a while. He's using it pretty well now. His wind spells destroyed Siegriel's sandstorm so easily.

”BASILISK'S CUTLASS!” He tried sending slashes to me but it was too easy to avoid. I have a huge trust when it comes to my defensive abilities.

”PINEAPPLE THORN!” *SWOOOOOOSH!* I threw my dagger and used the power stone in my hand to boost its power! Hit him!

*BAAAAAAAM!* I tried to hit his neck but he was able to avoid it in time but I still got his left shoulder. The dagger shattered but the force pushed him back.

I rushed towards him as fast as I could and then jumped towards him to deal the finishing blow.

”FRUIT PUNCH!” Take this!

*BAAAAAAAAM!* Suddenly, before I hit him... I was sent flying... red hair...

-After a couple of minutes-

”Hey, wake up!” Ugh... my stomach stings like crazy... It's Briam.

”What... happened?” I asked. I'm having trouble speaking.

”You were hit by Maisie. She maybe thought you were already dead and didn't try checking. I thought you were already dead too but thanks to your armor with power stone, you're still alive.” Is it just me or Briam's just trying to advertise the power stone or something? He's healing me I could tell.

”How long was I out? I need to help them.” I asked curiously. I tried to stand up but I'm not really in a good condition to fight.

”Not that long but look on what's happening.”

I stood up and as I look to the war from afar, our army is... almost wiped out... How did this happen?!
