200 Defender, Archer, Spellcaster II (1/2)

-Ebonywood Masnion, Great Hall-

”The players from Life guild who will participate in the ”Defender, Archer, Spell Caster” would be Elou, Akko, Lili, and Zia. It looks like Scy isn't here after all.” Aika excitedly announced. They used their leaders as participants, not really surprising. Though I'm pretty sure Scy was here.

”For the guild from the Other Side. Yeah, their guild name is the Other Side... Anyway, there will be Jay, Arvin, Briam, and Chara. New faces but I can feel a lot of talent from this guild.” I hope so too.

I hate to say this but I've played rock paper and scissors against these three and... they lost every single time. I really don't need the money but I really want to win too.

”Get ready guys. The fight will start now. Please choose your first player from both sides.”

”As the Captain of our guild. I will be the first to show my power!” Jay said with enthusiasm. I don't think talking like that would help you win. It's embarrassing too.

”I guess, I'll show you how a marksman plays this game.” Elou's the player in the opposing guild.

”Ok! So our first match would be Jay Renzo, the leader of a famous University Council here in our county, against Ethan Louis, the Olympic Gold Medalist in Archery. Will the Archer use the archer?! Let's see! Go to your positions. In a count of three from the screen, it will show us what you have chosen.” Aika explained. Both of them went on the stage.

They are getting ready as they wait for the countdown to finish.

*TIIIIIING!* Both of them used Defender! I don't know why, but I sensed what they used.

”It looks like they both used the Defender! Did Jay really think that Ethan would use Archer? This is really intense!” I was right and no, it's not intense at all.

”Well, most of the first results are the same but let's see if they will change their moves.” President Maximus commented.

”Ok! Get ready for another round!”

*TIIIIIIING!* Elou used Defender and Jay used Archer! Jay hand gesture was so obvious that even I can feel it. I don't know what's happening but I can feel what they are doing.

”What?! Ugh..” Jay said out of frustration.

”It looks like Ethan landed the first hit! One more and Jay will be out!” Ethan is on the upper hand here. He's an archer and he can easily see Jay's hand when they start and he can easily plan what to use. We really are in a pinch here.

They started again and both of them used Defender.

”Another tie! This next round will show us who is the winner!” Even if we switch teammates, there's no way we can win against this guy...

Jay is kind of startled. Relax Jay, you can't win when you're not in the right mood to fight. I've been with him for a while now and I can tell that sometimes, he thinks too much. Also, Elou's trying to mock him by showing him that he can read his moves by using defender again.

”I really need to win. I can buy a lot of things for the prize money. I will use my secret move!” Jay... that's really lame.

”I can't let you win. Aurora there said that I should win or she'll kill me for some reason.” Elou replied. It seems like Zia and Aurora need the cash because of their bills.

*TIIIIIIING!* Like what I predicted, Elou used Spell Caster and Jay used Defender. Jay really needs to pay attention to what he does and not what he thinks.

”We have the first blood! Elou won the match!” Aika announced.

”It looks like this Ethan guy has his own strategy. I can tell that he plays really well and he has good keen eyes.” Got that right, Mr. President.

Jay went back to us and I can't tell if he's sad or angry because of his he didn't say a word. It seems like he's in the emptiness mode again.

”The next match would be Arvin, he just built a new company and it is currently doing well but we also heard some controversies of how did he manage to do this in such a short time, against Ethan Louis! It looks like they want to continue Ethan's luck! Let the next match begin!” Aika excitedly said. Though, it's not about luck.
