Chapter 16 (2/2)

The chapel door of Halstead Castle is wide open.

The round ceiling and walls were painted white.

Precious flowers of the North gathered together and had been decorated in every facet, and let out a vibrant aura due to its colorful colors.

Leticia wore her wedding dress and the veil to ward off evil.

Tingling.

The village children walked on the aisle while waving small bells.

Leticia entered. Wearing her wedding dress, and holding Alexa’s arm while walking alongside her.

Erden is already standing in front of the altar.

In the North, the groom wears black robes. So his appearance didn’t change that much from his usual self.

He was just the familiar Monster Lord.

‘You can do it.’

Leticia made a vow once again.

She didn’t want to get Erden feeling anxious seeing his wife screaming or sitting down abruptly because her legs became weak.

In time, the solemn voice of the old priest resounded.

“In the presence of all the gods and demons, the Halstead and the Grey are here to keep their promise of 10 years ago.”

Leticia alerted.

‘You have to do it right.’

It was not long before the wedding ceremony began.

Leticia looked at Erden.

Erden hesitated for a moment at that moment. Even though she intentionally visited him in advance and gave her his hand, she hesitated when he tried to show his hands.

“You said you’ll be okay.”

Leticia said in a detached manner. Before Erden took off all his gloves, he turned his head sideways quickly.

Does he have twenty fingers? I’m ready to accept that.

Does he have tentacles, webbed hands, clams? I’m also ready to accept that.

No hands at all? I’m so ready for that, too.

I was prepared for everything internally, on every occasion that I am not so easy to panic.

But when Erden took off his gloves.

“—?”

She was surprised to the point where her determination was overshadowed.

Her eyes grew as big as fish. She almost gasped, but luckily she contained herself.

He looked calm somehow.

‘As expected of my wife—.’

He had an aura of relief.

But on the other hand, Leticia’s heart was beating madly.

Let’s calm down.

Leticia quickly turned away.

She pretended to look ahead, however, she had no choice but to keep glancing at Erden.

Even though she was prepared for it, she ended up surprised.

But it wasn’t Leticia’s fault.

She wasn’t surprised just now because it is that terrible.

Rather, it is the opposite.

His hands were so pretty.

She had seen pretty hands several times. Her cousins’ hands looked beautiful like a sculpture of marble.

But the beauty of his hands was way too different compared to those.

His hands were big, long, and porcelain white. Even his slightly raised tendon looked elegant.

He looked like her next-door neighbor who she had a crush on when she was younger, or the handsome guy who played music. He gave off that kind of feeling.

When the priest was tying the ribbon, his earlobes reddened.

‘What the hell is this?’

Leticia is drowned in confusion.

What? What? What?

“It is a proclamation to the Holy Spirit.”

Even after the priest untied the ribbon, Leticia couldn’t collect her wits together.

But the most shocking part was his hands weren’t like that of a monster.

Yet you’re hiding it with the fear of not wanting to scare others?

‘What the hell happened?’

I just can’t comprehend it.

It’s so weird that my head went crazy as I tried to keep myself calm.

‘What the hell is wrong with Erden’s hands?’

There was a fierce debate that was mobilizing all over her head.

In the end, there is only one answer to that.
