Chapter 326 - Leave the country (2/2)

Jamie got to her feet and with a determined look she said ”Rachel, sweetie I can just tell you this much that Jessica and I combined our powers and you know that in that sort of magic we can't tell you anything for at least 1 or 2 months. You know the reasons very well so I would suggest that you should go abroad for some time to avoid your memories being triggered.”

She gave it a thought and then hugged her mother ”I will go after a week because that is the time that I require to stabilize the condition of the company here and then I will leave for some time.”

Jessica smiled ”I will go with you.”

Jamie nodded ”Charles will take care of the company temporarily here while you start establishing it abroad.”

Rachel smiled ”I will surely do that and this is only because I trust you.”

Jamie nodded ”I will give you a surprise when you return but let Jessica erase your memory for now or you will be in constant pain.”

Rachel smiled and shook her head ”Don't do that or my memories will be triggered more often but this way with a little amount of memories I will know that I don't have to get into this zone of thinking.”

Jamie nodded ”You know that better so we will go with whatever you say.”

Rachel nodded and smiled ”Mom you talk to dad then and Jessica you prepare for everything while I handle the work at the company.”

Jessica and Jamie nodded their heads and went to out to turn in for the night. Rachel decided to stop thinking about this forbidden memory for a while to protect this person but her heart still clenched in pain as if something terrifying had happened to in the memory. As a queen she had the power to lock a certain memory in her head temporarily and not think about it and anything related to that memory would be blocked out.

She closed her eyes and performed that magic on herself and after she was successful, she finally closed her eyes and said ”I can do this for you.”

Next day she went to work and arranged a few meetings, she made everyone work to their full potentials and as a boss she was happy that she was called the most terrifying person because that is what she wanted and had to do to get the effective work from her employees.

A week passed by quickly and with Rachel working day and night she was able to get the company back to the top and within this week she became the most feared and most respected person in the country. Everyone knew about her and she was like the highlights of the news and then the news spread that she was going to spread her business out of the country which made her even more popular.

She was the most talked person everywhere but she was not interested in any of that because she was trying to keep herself busy with work to keep her mind distracted. She became famous as the cold and aloof richest president. There was peace in the wizardland too or it seemed peaceful before the storm but she didn't care because she was ready to fight.

It was finally the day she had to leave and Jamie, Jessica and Charles came to see her off. At last she had asked Jessica to stay there and help Charles with the company, she told her she would handle everything by herself. When she was about to leave Oliver greeted her loudly from a great distance ”Hey Rach.”

Rachel smiled and waved at him and when he came to stand in front of him she said ”It's so good to see that you have come to see me off.” She then looked at the bag that he was carrying and with a confused look she asked ”Wait but why do you have a bag?”

He beamed with happiness ”My Dad had an important business to handle in France and at the last moment he got sick. He was about to cancel the meeting but I told him that I will go instead of him, what harm could it do because even if he didn't go he would loose the deal so why not give me a chance.”

Rachel laughed ”You are such a jerk to be happy at you father's sickness.”

He smiled ”I focus on positive aspects and right now it is that I get to travel with you.”
