Chapter 326 - Leave the country (1/2)

Oliver who stood behind her was worried, he stepped forward and held her by her shoulders ”Are you okay?”

She cried out louder and then her held her head with her hands ”Ah! My head hurts.”

More images flashed in her mind but she could not see the person in them clearly, she gripped Oliver's hand tightly ”Take me home.”

Her grip was so tight that Oliver could feel the pain in his hand, he hugged her closer to his chest and said ”Alright, let's go.”

He then looked at Liam ”Let me have this painting please.”

Liam shook his head ”I can't give this to you but I can give it to the person who is in it.”

Oliver nodded ”Please do that, send it to my place.”

Liam agreed and then he went to meet other people. Rachel was in a mess, she was unable to process her thoughts and she was walking with the support of Oliver. When she was not able to get her thoughts together and she could not take it anymore, her headache took over and her body fell limp in Oliver's arms as soon as they stepped out of the hall.

He got even more worried and picked her up in his arms and quickly made his way to the car. Making her sit comfortably in the seat he called Jessica and told her everything. Her voice turned worried ”That was the painting Robert drew for her and was going to gift her on her birthday. He hid that in the lawn, it must have been thrown out by the maid when she was cleaning.”

Oliver was still worried ”Now I get it, how this reached Liam but what should I do now.”

Jessica had a frown on her forehead ”Bring her home.”

Oliver agreed and took her back while Jessica went to tell everything to Jamie. Jamie panicked ”This is not good, if this keeps on happening something bad is surely going to happen.”

Jessica nodded her head and they waited for Rachel impatiently. Oliver carried her in his arms and took her to her room ”Will she be fine.”

Jamie smiled ”Yes she will be fine, you should leave, it is getting late now.”

Oliver was reluctant to leave but as Jamie kept insisting he had to leave at last. Jessica looked at Jamie and when the latter nodded her head, she sat next to Rachel and placed her hand on Rachel's forehead but before she could use the spell to erase her memory again, Rachel was awake and held her wrist ”What are you trying to do?”

Her tone was sharp and enough to scare them both, her gaze piercing through Jessica who didn't know how to respond and looked at Jamie terrified.

Jamie was cleaver enough to come up with a reply ”She was checking your temperature and seeing if you are fine.”

Rachel let go of her wrist and sat up, she then looked at her mother and then at her friend and her voice became demanding, the one that belonged to their queen ”Jessica what memory of mine have you erased and Mom what have you done with her?”

Both of them could not lie to their queen so they just stood there with their heads lowered but didn't say anything. Rachel felt that it was the most important piece of her heart and she could not help but speak louder ”I demand you to tell me the truth or there will be consequences for going against the queen.”

Jamie went down on her knees and bowed her head ”I am sorry for doing this, My Queen but if I had the chance to do that again, I would still do the same because it is the best for you and this is what a mother is saying. As for the punishment, I am ready to accept anything but I will not tell the truth. Jessica has nothing to do with it so let her go.”

Before she could say anything Jessica to kneeled in front of her too and had her head bowed ”No, Your Highness, it is not her I was the one to do the magic on you. You are free to punish me but please don't ask for the truth because we won't be able to tell that to you ever.”

Rachel felt like she was stabbed in her chest and her heart clenched, tears flowed through her eyes ”Please get up don't do this and why can't you tell me the truth. I have these images but I can't see the person, it is the person I love and if you have erased my memories because he broke my heart you can give it back I will be able to tolerate it.”
