20 Captain Salazar (2/2)
”Rankyaku : Sen!!” shouted Salazar as he stomped at the direction of Nate causing the air to be blasted in the form of a bullet towards him.
While defending against the bullets, Nate was also using his Haki to keep an eye on his surroundings and he soon noticed the captain attacking him using something like Rokushiki of the CP9. Nate immediately activated 'Bararaq Kauza' almost instantaneously appearing elsewhere while dodging the attack.
Salazar knew his attack missed when he saw the young man standing to his right while surrounded by arcs of lightning. His years of experience made him realize that this pirate might not be an easy prey. He instantly used 'Soru' to close in on him and used 'Rankyaku' at almost point blank range.
Nate reacted to the attack by unsheathing his sword 'Kurikara' and parrying against the compressed air slash. After dissipating the attack, he charged his blade with lightning and rushed in with a slash. Salazar used his hand to defend against the attack while using 'Tekkai' and Haki, which stopped the slash but he was still affected by the lightning as he was send back few meters while his limbs started to get numb.
The entire exchange happened so fast that it was over within a second or two and all that the rest of the Marines saw was some blur and few bolts of lightning. While Nate and Salazar was crossing blades, Sasaki was surrounded by Marines as they attacked his from all sides.
”Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū : Ryūkansen Arashi!!” shouted Sasaki as he spin his sword in a circle causing a tornado of blades to form. It blew away more than half of the Marines, and all those who surrounded him.
Salazar noticed the twister of blades, but he was too preoccupied with Nate to help them. He was still feeling numb after the last exchange which puzzled him, usually when Haki is used it helps in dissipating the attack from the devil fruit users. As he wondering Nate attacked, seeing that he used his cane to block the attack.
As soon as the blade made contact with the cane, Nate knew that it was coated with Haki but he didn't care as knew that his lightning would still be effective due to its 'Eternal' nature. Soon both of exchanged dozens of moves in the span of few seconds. But the situation got worse for Salazar as time went on, due to the lightning somehow managing to surpass his defense. He was once again send flying with a burst of lightning bolts, as they separated.
”Hmm.. It seems like Sasaki has finished already. How about we finished our little play too??” asked Nate with a smirk.
”Bararaq Harba!!” shouted Nate as he thrust his blade covered in lightning, which caused a spear of condensed lightning to shoot towards Salazar.
Salazar was shocked as he used when he saw the attack. He coated his hand with Haki until they turned black while using his ultimate technique.
”Sai Dai Rin : Rokuogan!!” shouted Salazar as he launched a devastating shock wave towards the spear of lightning with hopes of stopping it.
The lightning seemed tear through the shock wave as it traveled unimpeded and pierced through Salazar. While the remnant lightning bolts destroyed the surroundings.
