255 Beauty and the Beas (2/2)
The first to reach was Richard's golden spear of light, which radiated a powerful aura. And in a second, the powerful spear of light heavily slammed into a point on the light screen, causing circles to ripple outwards.
”Boom!”
The wave formed by vigorous Life energy quickly followed. Everything poured down onto that same point and immediately, the ripples on the light screen spread quicker, while the glow of the light screen started to become dimmer.
”Boom!”
In the next moment, the fiery red longsword of Sterling ferociously stabbed the light screen, and then, at a slow pace, it buried itself into the light screen.
”Explode!”
In the skies, Sterling's mouth slightly moved as a soft voice sounded out.
”Boom!”
The moment the words escaped his mouth, the tip of the long sword that had already pierced into the light screen violently vibrated as it started to release more Life energy. The sword then moved forward, completely wiping away the symbols on the light screen as the glow of the light screen also became dimmer and dimmer.
However, the barrier still firmly endured the attacks which surprised everyone at the campsite including Knight. They did not expect that after being attacked by these powerful attacks of three Peak Grandmasters, the seal would still remain strong.
”Swish!”
While everyone was in awe looking at the strength of the seal, the decisive, as well as seemingly weakest red glow drifted over towards the seal. Soon after, the petal finally landed on the light screen.
And the moment the lotus flower petal touched the light screen, it instantly transformed into a bright red light and spread throughout the screen as it started to enshroud the entire light screen.
”Crack!”
”Crack!”
The red light trembled as a series of faint but clear breaking sounds echoed out. The crowd watched while many cracks ran across the light screen.
”The seal is about to be broken!”
Upon seeing this scene, many people were cheered and delighted while some of them looked at the mysterious girl with eyes full of amazement, clearly unable to believe that she actually possessed this kind of method, and unsure of which holy land she came from. But only Knight knew that even though she was radiating a Peak Grandmaster magical fluctuations, her realm cultivation was Low heavenly Heavenly level.
”Amazing, Miss Loretta's Eternal Red lotus is indeed powerful as they say” Sterling, Richard, and Milan were similarly rather surprised, as they smiled and commented. Their gazes all looked at the red lotus below she was standing on.
”I'm amazed by your attacks too” She smiled and said.
”CLING!”
Just as she said, the light screen that was already covered all over in cracks, finally exploded with a loud cling sound. And the next moment, an extremely powerful storm unfurled in the skies like a hurricane.
”Go!”
The hurricane did not manage to blow away the four figures in the sky. They watched and at the moment the light screen shattered, the four of them immediately soared towards the mountain top, and in the blink of an eye, they were almost at the mountain top.
”The seal is broken, come on!”
Upon seeing the four rush toward the old tomb, the crowd below wasted no time as they moved towards the old tomb like a devastating flood coming out of flood gates.
”Hop in!”
As Knight saw this scene, he jumped onto the black sword and motioned Lia to step on the sword as she quickly leaped onto the sword and wrapped her hands around his chest.
”Let's do this!”
Since he had to get the life shard in order to bring Don back from the dead, he could not possibly return empty-handed. He had no time or mood to question the golden robed man who informed him about the life shard as his full focus was now on getting the Life shard and possibly looting all the treasures in the tomb.
”Ssshhhhhh!”
The black sword let out a piercing sound as he soared towards the mountain top as fast as he could while Lia buried her head onto his back in fear of falling and held him tightly.
At this moment, the battle for the old tomb had finally begun.
