255 Beauty and the Beas (1/2)

A woman like this, and with such a demeanor, was rarely seen in this world as her beauty was on par with Amaryll but she was more beautiful than Lia due to her high level of cultivation.

The previously noisy foot of the mountain now lapsed into silence. Although the girl's face was covered with a veil, the faintly visible shape of her face appeared almost perfectly proportioned, causing one to wish that one could remove that veil, and see the beauty that would make a full moon in the night sky look dull.

”Such a beautiful girl”

The crowd gasped while staring at the girl without blinking. Even Knight had to admit that she looks gorgeous as among all the women he had seen, she would surely take up the top three spots in his mind.

However, though this girl's voice sounded melodious and lively, he did not see even the slightest bit of gentleness or softness in those clear sharp eyes. Instead, what they contained within was a deep coldness that made her look unapproachable.

This girl was evidently one that had hotness outside and coldness inside.

As far as he was concerned, this kind of girl was even more difficult to deal with than the typical beautiful girls.

”Who is this? Someone from what's that name again? House Godkind?” he tilted his head and looked at Lia as he asked.

”No”

Lia's eyebrows slightly knitted together as she said. Even she could not help but feel a sliver of jealousy in her heart at this girl's looks and demeanor and deep in her heart, she hated the way Knight was looking at her.

”She does not seem to have an ordinary background, as it was the House Godkind who invited her this time. Loretta Blackwood hmm, I've never heard of her before” Lia pondered for a moment and said as Knight rubbed his chin.

”If a big deal like him being so courteous towards her, he definitely comes from a powerful background” Knight muttered in his heart.

”Haha, so it turns out to be Miss Loretta, I'm honored to see you here” In the skies, Milan also gave a faint smile to Loretta who was standing on top of the red lotus. From what he had just said, he seemed to know about her identity.

”Heh heh, I did not expect that you would take interest in the events of the Obleth Empire.” Richard looked towards the mysterious woman with an evident passion in his gaze. In front of such a beautiful girl, he could not conceal his emotion or he chose not to.

”It's nothing more than coincidence.”

She mildly smiled as she said. Soon after, her eyes turned towards Sterling as she softly spoke with absolute certainty

”Since everyone is here, shall we break the seal?”

”The seal was set up by a Soul Strength cultivator, although many years have passed since then, we cannot underestimate its strength, but, if all of us attack a single point, I believe that we can destroy the seal”

The three of them agreed with his words with a nod.

”Less talk, more action!” Richard was the quickest to move as the huge golden spear below him started to tremble violently. Dazzling golden rays swiftly gathered at the tip of the spear, before it finally transformed directly into an enormous golden spear made of golden light that was dozens of meters long, as it fiercely swept forth.

”hssssssss!”

While Richard made his move, Milan, who stood atop the Griffin also lightly smiled as he gently waved the deep blue fan in his hand. Immediately, a blue crescent-shaped wave swiftly formed before him, as Life energy surged within it.

”Go!”

Milan waved his fan as the blue wave rushed towards the barrier

”Buzzzzzh!”

Both hands behind his back, Sterling did not seem to move as a huge whirlpool appeared in the skies above his head. A terrifying amount of Life energy rushed out from the atmosphere and in the blink of an eye, it transformed into a majestic and enormous fiery-red long sword. And the next second, it soared through the sky leaving a red trail like a meteor.

Compared to Sterling's and the other two's attacks, Loretta's attack seemed rather quiet and less extravagant. She waved her hand as a petal dropped off from the red lotus below her feet. Soon after, the petal was bundled up in a rich red light as it silently swept towards the mountain top covered by the seal in a distance.

When the four made their move, the Life energy in the area violently rippled, while the faces of several people in the camp were filled with admiration and respect. Only those that had a perfect understanding of Life energy and a strong cultivation base would be able to utilize the Life energy to such an extent as this.

”How powerful”

Lia's eyes widened in surprise as she looked at the attacks. The power to gather Life energy and give it any shape with a gesture was truly mind-blowing.

In the face of these kinds of fancy spells, even Knight was fascinated by it. Although the current him was already able to defeat an ordinary mid Heavenly level cultivator, if these four of them combined their power, they have the chance to defeat him and he knew it.

While Lia's eyes were flickering, the majestic attacks in the sky had already heavily slammed into the mountain top under numerous watchful gazes.

As these attacks reached closer to the barrier, the air around it seemed to distort. And then, a screen of light slowly appeared, numerous shapes and patterns were drawn on the light screen, as if they were a bunch of bizarre symbols.
