Raditz was surprised by the jump in the Saiyans' strength. He knew what the Tree of Might was, but to feel the strength jump in person was amazing. He wanted to take the fruits for himself, but they were meant for gods. He was worried about if he'd have to explain the matter to someone like Beerus, the god of destruction, later if he ate one.

The long haired Saiyan hovered over the fallen Earthlings as he moved smoothly towards his enemies' location. Reiss followed alongside his father. The boy was excited to get the chance to participate. Over the last couple of years he was allowed to help kill pirates, but they were all weak.

”Ah Raditz, the so called emperor. Good to see you finally up.” Vegeta mocked, ”Do you also need to experience the power of a super elite or will you now join us?”

”No, I'm not joining you. I want to see this super elite power you're boasting first hand.” Raditz replied.

”I get to help too, right, father?” Reiss asked.

”Sure, you can fight the bald one and the two twin guys.” his father answered, ”I'll leave how you deal with them to your discretion.” The boy nodded and smiled in response. Ever since he was capable of training the boy has enjoyed combat. This was going to be one of his toughest challenges, besides his instruction he received from his father.

”Are you really so eager for your offspring to die?” Turles laughed.

”He can probably handle it.” Raditz said watching his son fly towards Nappa.

Raditz had wondered what it would be like meeting Vegeta. He thought about whether or not he could persuade the prideful Saiyan to his side. Turles was unexpected and he had no use for him.

The universe might be made worse by Turles's continued existence. He had already destroyed one planet for the Tree of Might fruit, which ran counter to Raditz's goals.

Personally he didn't care about the survival of worlds, but he knew about mortal levels. Apparently, universes are ranked according to mortal levels. It wasn't clear exactly what determined mortal levels, but it wasn't ranked solely on strength. Raditz had guessed it was a combination of factors such as: strength of the mortals in the universe, number of planets with sentient life, welfare of the mortals, and general comfort levels. If Raditz tried to dominate the universe through pure strength and terror like Frieza the mortal level would undoubtedly drop. If the mortal level became unacceptable the whole universe could be wiped out by Zeno at a moment's notice.

”Turles handle this fool.” Vegeta commanded.

”Why, don't you want to play round some more.” Turles responded.

”With my power it would be beneath me.” the short spiked haired Saiyan said coolly. Turles was angered by Vegeta's assertion that he was meant for grunt work, especially after letting him eat the fruit of the Tree of Might.

”I want to test my current strength. I'd rather fight you both.” the long haired Saiyan interrupted.

”This basta-” before Vegeta could finish is insult he was interrupted by a set of violent explosions.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Vegeta and Turles looked by to see Nappa lying in a crater with has limbs broken. Above him Reiss was blocking a punch from Lakasei with his right forearm and a punch from Rasin with his left shin. He pushed the twins back and they vanished in high speed combat.

”What is this?!” the Kakarot duplicate asked, ”How is that boy so strong.”

”Where are you looking?” Raditz asked punching Turles while he was distracted. The blow sent Turles back into a small plateau. He followed through with a kick to Vegeta's ribs. The short Saiyan stopped himself before impacting the ground.

”That should get them motivated.” he thought.

It was a sound tactic because his opponents charged back ferociously. They were moving quick even for Raditz's senses. He could still block all of their strikes because of a technique he developed over the years. During a fight, he would maintain a very thin sphere of Ki is a three meter radius around his body to better sense movement. The developed the idea from an anime he watched in his past life. So far the skill had proved very useful.

As he fought he felt a rumbling sensation from with causing him to rapidly adapt to his opponents' speed. It was the same rumble that developed after the hyper moon incident. The rumble, or better yet the power had become part of his essences after he learned to harness it. It took all of two years for him to firmly control the power and was worth all the effort.

After minute he could keep up with the movement's of his opponents with the assistance of his sphere technique. His arms started to become numb from blocking all of their attacks. His foes were getting angered he'd survived as long as he did and seemed to be improving.

”How are you doing this? You shouldn't be this good?” Turles spat.

”It doesn't matter he won't last long look at his arms their shaking. He's good at dodging, but not good at taking hits.” Vegeta declared. ”I will give these 'Earthlings' this they are good at hiding there power.”

”If you think that is impressive, let me show you what I gained in my travels.” Raditz stated and began gathering power. The ground shook was stones began floating into the air.

”Haa...!” Raditz dove into the rumbling power within. The power he discovered to be the roar of the Great Ape.

”Ahhhh...!” Raditz continued to build his power up. His hair began to take on a more wild appearance and his muscle mass increase several fold. His once black irises became a firey Great Ape crimson.

With a final shout Raditz finished his transformation.

His Saiyan foes floated midair looking dumbfounded by what they witnessed. Neither of them knew what exactly happened. Vegeta was worried that Raditz had somehow usurped his destiny becoming the Super Saiyan. He didn't want to believe it so he checked his scouter. His current scouter model would possibly break if it tried to detect a power over fifty thousand. If it did it would at least let him know Raditz was stronger than that.

BEEP!

Vegeta's jaw dropped.

The scouter showed nothing.

It took the scan then blanked out.

If Raditz was hiding his power it should apply some number to it. He turned quickly to scan Reiss. Surprisingly, the boy's power was also concealed from the scan.
